Welcome to one of the greatest bands to walk this earth. If this is your entry point, you have a long incredible road ahead of you. Each player has a long history of greatness within and without the band. Robert Fripp, John Wetton, Bill Bruford, David Cross. Many line up changes (here you have the 2nd classic lineup, the best touring unit, live improv prog band there has ever been).

In 1972, when Robert Fripp began recruiting a brand new band, designed for a bolder, more unpredictable style of playing. The band brought in two new drummers, there to represent opposite ends of the percussive spectrum: Jamie Muir, an explosive percussionist with an unconventional approach and wild stage presence, and Bill Bruford, who had already established his jazzy, inventive approach to drumming as a member of Yes. To this double percussion, Fripp adds violinist David Cross and bassist and singer John Wetton. The whole album is truly exceptional !!!! Thanks !!!

Always great to see this. Actually saw KC with Wetton as here. Was only 17 so fascinated with Cross on elec violin too. Wetton ace on bass and good looking. Bruford still following him on here and Fripp the boss! Subscribed as you’re doing more! As someone says you had to search bands like this out to see them live, only rock mags for ads no internet very rarely on tv and you couldn’t record! I’m still a fan.

The album version is the one to listen to; it's phenomenal.

Saw KC twice, best live band I've ever seen besides Zappa's band. Another band that changed members through the years but remained awesome.

The bass player was a lovely guy called JOhn WEtton who sadly passed away recently. He then went on to play with FAmily and played on their corker of an album entitled Fearless.Nice choice.

Nope, it's the other way around. Fearless came out in 1971 and Easy Money came out in 1973. Either way there's a fantastic song on Fearless called Spanish tide in which John sings some of the lead vocals.

I think it is important to remember that this is from the time of album experiences and live experiences. This is not what was on the radio.

Yes you have to do more KC, but your videos may be blocked by the band, a shame. They are the creators of prog. One of the top 5 prog bands ever, with Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant and Van der Graaf Generator.

I don't know why I never really could get into KK god knows I tried and on an individual level I like the musicians but the songs themselves not that much and I love the Yes albums with Bruford. I do sometimes wonder if Radiohead has a KK fan in the band they seem fond of the same things musically at times.
