King Dedede main here. He has more mix-ups than a lot of people realize. If people are good at reflecting gordo back at you, you can use that against your opponent by intentionally setting up gordos as bait in order to force bad options. It's even sillier if you get good at spacing and hitting it back with fAir after they knock it back because most people will charge at you after they knock it back to try and combo off of it. Also, a mix up that is super underrated is jumping away from your opponent as Dedede because they have 3 options jump into your backair, run under you and get inhaled when they inevitably shield or naired if they dont, or they stay back and let you set up gordo shenanigans.

When this game started there were dededes literally everywhere. It’s a character that’s super easy to learn with a relatively low skill ceiling. The most tricky stuff you can probably do is just changing ur fastfall timings and gordo setups. He follows the easy to learn, kindof easy to master and early on people could see that. Not to say there’s not merit to knowing a character like dedede and because of his nature anyone could hold a pocket dedede for matchup reasons if needed. Like the dude said it’s a good counter pick.

The reason is not really di, is about the characters position when they get hit by the apex of chroms up b, I've used it in my advantage against specific ledgetraps, like Diddy side tilt and squirtle water gun if he is close

If I understand things right, my experience is that the player on stage extends their hitbox beyond the edge (as was the case with DDD there) which causes Up B to pull them down.

Honestly thier tool kit is already good enough imo, but the increased Nair hitbox would be neat. The only things I'd want is for Splatbomb to hit more consistently, allow for every character in the game to get Up-Smashed from roller, make the down air spike hitbox a bit bigger, make Splattershot accurate to how it looks (which would increase it's range), and allow for Inkling to fall though platforms when in freefall from Up-B. I'd say make the up throw up air combo more accessible, but that mostly an online issue since its seemingly IMPOSSIBLE to kill with it.

Yeah! 😤 There’s a difference between supermajors and majors. Examples of majors would be Temple, Ultimate Wanted 3, or Umebura SP3. Examples of supermajors would be Genesis 7, Mainstage, Low Tide City. Winning a major is impressive, but winning a supermajor is another thing entirely! 😳 This tournament was Vienna Challengers Arena. Had 512 entrants and a 16k prize pool. The talent competing and no. entrants is definitely on the smaller end because it’s in Europe, but I’d say it still counts as a major

He used DDD most of the bracket and thats what got him to grands, even vs space. He beat noteable players with his DDD and only cp Glutonny because it was the smart thing to do. 2 reasons-1, DDD loses the wario matchup incredibly hard, its totally free, he would have lost. And 2, Sonic is basically A wario players worst mu. It basically put him in a position to beat Gluto. Youll notice how Larry said he never loses all europe tournaments. If you want to beat him, you arent doing it the normal way. You are gonna have to figure something out or pinpoint or abuse a weakness, which Peli did. He both played DDD at top level and won the major. Technically it isnt clickbait.
