All his albums are FULL concept albums, except for 1985's Fatal Portrait (The Candle, The Jonah, The Portrait, Haunted), and 1995's The Spider's Lullabye (Title track, The Eastmann Cure, Room 17, To The Morgue). On these releases, the conceptual story only makes up half the album, with the rest of the songs being stand-alone tracks. FP opens with the first 3 songs then closes out the story (and the album) with the 4th song (strange why they did that, breaking up the set that way?), while TSL has all 4 songs consecutive at the end to close out the album. They may be "short stories" but are no less creepy and thrilling!

One final note : there is one more somewhat-kinda-sorta Christmas song from King Diamond, from the 2003 concept album The Puppet Master. It's called Little Drummer Boy (Christmas Again), and even though it's part of a larger story, it still stands on its own quite well. It's less silly than this one, but still a great tune.

Gospel choir siging the Ikea catalogue for christmas madam? Why certainly... Most metalheads have a good grasp of how ridiculous we are, and an important part of metal culture is parody bands like Nanowar of Steel. Valhaleluja is a truly magnificent christmas send-up of viking metal, complete with viking metal singer cameo and gospel choir. Incidentally the name Nanowar is itself a parody of American "true metal" band Manowar, who committed the only unforgivable crime in metal: taking themselves seriously.
