I was at this show! I had the tickets for those Red Rocks shows since 2019! Than 2020 happened and it was delayed delayed delayed, but I’m glad I never sold them! Almost 3 years waiting and it was worth it!

Did the same thing! Bought my tickets I think in November of 2019 for what were supposed to be 2 shows in May 2020. Held onto them and bought a ticket for the added on 3rd night, as well. Easily 3 of the greatest experiences of my life. Went back for their 3 shows at Red Rocks this year and caught a couple shows in Tennessee, as well right before. Gizz for life!

i was there !!! everyone was in awe, imagine thousands of people all witnessing the same shooting star in the sky as they peak on mushrooms at a king gizzard show at red rocks. Fucking phenomenal

Think i have mentioned it before but Work this Time live at red rocks is another i think you may enjoy, there is a good Pro Shot copy on KZbin. I think you guys would like all of the Red Rocks. Last year they played three shows there and played for pretty much three hours. No Song Repeats.

I agree...live performance is always good, but especially this band, & it's hard to put your finger on. For me, I think it's because witnessing them conjure real actual magic in person makes you realise "it's actually humans 👽 making this sound" 😯 (more than just sounds, their soundscape is like an actual experience, or hallucination) & that it's not a figment of one's imagination or music of the gods...but the sonic alchemy of mere mortals. My hat goes off to the head gizzard (forget his name) for bringing his pure vision to fruition...it mustn't have been an easy journey, with all those weird time signitures 😅😂🤣 ...I would love to examine the inside of this guy's brain 😂 👽 👁️ 🌏 🇦🇺

@@secondhandreactions yep. They're a strange combination of totally unique yet paying tribute to various other greats. Definately love their sense of humour too (even down to microtonal guitars)...seems like they've reached a certain threshold of accomplishment, & now going beyond that, they are liberated from the seriousness of it all. So eager to see these guys continue strong into the future...can you imagine where they might go if they continue on this trajectory? I'm excited for you guys to get the chance to see them live soon...it'll happen. Gotta do that myself too. Long live the Lizard Wizard!!! 🤘🙏🤘
