Mom played that forever when it was new The Oaks ,Hinson’s ,Downings She had a life changing experience with Jesus and everything changed about ‘74 . We started going to a full Gospel church and as a kid I thought Jesus was coming back at anytime. The services were amazing. And our house constantly reverberated music like this from our console stereo. PTL was new and good too Always on. Lord give us expectation like we had back then. I remember not even doing my homework one night because I thought Jesus was coming back.. We’ve made this world too much of our home. We are to be pilgrims and strangers passing through. Thanks for this.

If youre that familiar with this song then you would know that the Oaks are traitors to southern Gospel Music and the only gospel music they sing are songs written and ewcorded by True southern gospel artist such as this son it was WRITTEN AND RECORDED BY LAVERN TRIPP Not the oakridge TRAITOR Boys. They were asked one time after they recorded this album if they were returning to southern Gospel Music and their reply was We are just following the money. and now you know why I call them Traitors. They arent out to se souls saved They are out for the money, Now if youre talking about Hinsons and Goodmans and Those folks Yeah Now they have the Goods but not the Oakridge boys.
