I have my first playthrough with 100% done, but it was an 8 hour sitting. it's so awesome for me the fact that i defeated every joustus challenger, i hate card games and puzzles with no relation to the main gameplay, but this was adicting af. Huge run, keep the good work.

Yo, I was so happy to see this pop up on my feed! Love how the relics make for more tricks, especially the Scepter. It really skips a lot, huh? I'll bet routing for it is interesting, you gotta pick and choose where best to use it because it's so expensive. Looks like you prioritize magic upgrades early so you can dash even more. You really threaded the needle at 14:56 The dash starting at 17:12 was pretty fun. Drop off the ledge and then shoot back up. Pretty exact, looks like. At 24:36, it seems like you cut that pretty close, snuck under there just barely! I love the sequence at 26:02, you hit the pillar as low as possible and spin, hitting the dirt at what looks like the furthest left as you possibly can, dash down to get to the ground faster and push that pillar down, Scepter through the rat and hit the wall to spin up to dash to the next screen. It just looks efficient, you know? The sequence starting at 44:12 is pretty high-octane. Slide along, charge upwards to grab a medal, then slide along at water level, boost up and use an enemy to charge into the goal ring. At 45:27, the jump/dash/turn over the chest to dash back across the treasure is pretty slick. Not the only time you use that in the run. DAMN that was a good King Birder fight. Skipped around the guy at the end of Spires instead of taking it on the chin, good job. Using invincibility frames to Scepter dash at the very end of Phantom Striker fight to then bounce on him for the finish was crisp. The Joustus match against the wolves was nail-biting. Of course you don't need the bugs to cross in Bohto. Nice. Also, slick fire sword spin into the goal ring at the end. At 1:38:57, you're lucky the platforms coming up don't block your dash, but since they're pretty slow, it makes sense. Surprised to learn at 1:48:51 that a dash from above can hurt the vikings. (If I've seen it before, I forgot.) Dang Spinwulf was made for Scepter dashing, lots of fun moments. Fantastic run, always cool to see different tactics. Also I think you may have cheated at one of the card games. Couldn't hazard a guess at which one, though.

Yeah, that was a pretty nasty misclick of mine on the Spinwulf joustus match! My general plan was that scepter is fast so i wanted as much mana for it as possible, yeah. After I did this (about a month ago, been too busy to do any more recently) a couple tricky tricks like using a rat to break the block in lunkeroth's lagoon to open up the red exit were found - but I think my route is mostly right: -get medals -get wealth whirl -get scepter (beat all the bosses as they spawn to save time in the overworld map) -get high-level joustus cards -do joustus to get medals -sweep all the items with lightweight plate on because that speeds up those levels, and the items are seemingly not very useful otherwise (and it's just easier to flick between two things anyway) And, yeah, brigandine bash damages stuff through armor, and somehow that is totally useless.

Bro I love these speedruns! I really need to get into King of cards speedruns. There is some tech I would need to learn none the less but it would be so much fun. I love how in your first playthrough of the game you don't know about the roll after the dash until the tutorial. Then in your second playthrough you realize you could have done it from the beginning :)

When you think about it, higher completion means the bard writes more music, causing more music sheets to be scattered at the end of the game. If anything, higher completion sets up Shovel of Hope even better, making the post credits scene even more accurate.
