There is a diffrence with player and management. Captain can take or Remove players if he wants but can't management. Dhoni done that with team and given results as ICC trophies. Kohli interfared on Management level. Sashtri had no qualifications but Kohli used his power to make Sashtri coach. Even Fired Kumble and was against Bharat Arun as bowling coach.

@@SP-qh3lp Cricket is all about team work.. and Dhoni never looked for spotlight.. he could have easily had a greater spotlight and name by batting at No. 3 or 4.. but he didn't do that. Once he became the captain , he changed his game.. being a captain or a leader is not easy.. as you have already seen in the case of Kohli. A captain who cares about his own record never leads his team to success.. a captain who brings out the best in the players of his team is the true leader! Dhoni never takes credits for other players contribution.. because he doesn't have to do that , he has already proved innumerable times who he is and what he is capable of. The ppl who blindly say that Dhoni takes credit for other players' contribution need to understand what they're saying because it absolutely makes no sense.. because even when he was the captain and when he gave up his captaincy.. everybody questioned him and thrashed him whenever the team lost...and whenever the team won the players responsible for the victory were celebrated. The amount of criticism Dhoni faced is huge.. but still he handled everything with grace! Before simply questioning his abilities and him.. think about yourself..

@@Nature627 it's all because of Kohli's attitude and "No one can dare to touch me " behaviour he is at this situation now. Even MS Dhoni wasn't scoring well when he was captain, lost 2015 ICC world cup and couple of t20 world cups. No one asked him to leave his captaincy. MS didn't have ego, he knew his place, was humble, had a great relationship with BCCI and team coaches which saved him from this humiliation. When everything was going according to Virat's words, he kicked out Anil kumble and brought in Ravi shastri as the team head coach.He didn't listen to the senior's words. He got team selected according to his wishes. He got everything what he wanted. Now the tables have turned and he is experiencing his won making.

shame??? at some point in life there comes a time when you are out of fuel.between december 2009 to january 2020, kohli was the best indian batsman, and every great player, be it Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Ganguly etc.., have gone through lean patches in their career. cricket seems like a fancy sport which gives you billions of fans but at the same time what a player goes through in becoming SACHIN,DRAVID OR KOHLI, that process is often ignored by public at large. there exists a lot of stress in one's life, even though a person is earning billions, one can't live without his/her family. Gilchrist, a legend by every means, is not involved in grooming young players in australia, doesn't mean he should ashamed of it. every person has some shortcomings in their life, nobody is perfect.

He looks a bit tried at the moment, both physically and mentally. Back in 2018, he had a lower back injury after ipl but he did his part and played the entire ireland-england tour and was performed exceptionally. He was let down by other batsmen. He is trying to go for power hitting very early in his innings which he never used to do in his prime. There are chances that he might be facing some heat from selectors as well, having lost significant amount of responsibility on last months. He is in a situation like how Sachin was between 2005-2007 50 overs world cup,, he was a captain just a couple months ago, he is facing a patch like that of Rahul Dravid's early 2007-december 2008. I just hope he does not get dropped like how Ganguly was in 2005. talking about priorities, I don't think someone like you is capable enough even to give him lecture on such a topic, you better try to imagine yourself in his shoes at the first place, only then you could understand kiddo. This shitman gets diagnosed with piles while asked to your difficult countries like newzealand 2020, australia 2020 and south africa 2021-22 and then some bunch of jokers call India's victory over a West Indies(Bermuda) as historical 😂😂😂. Irrespective of the politics it was pretty evident that Kohli was past his prime as a captain . There is a time frame within which a player outshines and plays his best while leading the team as well . If Kohli would had remained captain this year then he would had been removed the next , his time is over and I dont mean any disrespect to Kohli when I say this but its part of the game and life as well . If he would have won any of the recent ICC tournament he would have kept his captaincy. It is true that he set out a fitness standard but players were becoming too commercial when a big final is played his team used to say we are playing like just another game and when they lose they say it was just a game someone will lose or win. This is not a champions attitude though Indian team was more aggressive but less effective to win tournaments. They lack champion's attitude that 2011 team had that "winning a worldcup is our birth right and nobody can steal that from us" attitude.

Dada never disrespected anybody. Even in his prime age, he never disrespected any opponent or umpire unnecessarily.He flured his shirt, because Flintoff did the same in India. Dada's agression is an inherent character. Kohli is more about optics, though talent wise, he is much superior to Ganguly. Dhoni, Ganguly like Kohli, took many decisions against the wishes of Bcci. Stop syaing Kholi is better player than ganguly the times were different, Kholi plays in a flat pitch with medicore bowlers, ganguly played agaist quality bowlers where scoring 300 was that difficult, also there were no controversy or disapproval amoung the players, ganguly took the blame for faliures and stood by the team and credited the team when they won Kholi was too egoistic to do the same, infact ascking on anil kumble was his biggest mistake, he only had to play his game not decide who should coach it was not his business, I dont see Kholi records are any big achivements but I have enjoyed few geniune matchess of him else he too is nothing but a overrated player

But in his last years after relegating captaincy, he improved a lot, and have to say, Ganguly ,the player, revived, which we saw before he taking up his captaincy. Technically speaking, the command Kohli has over his shot is something I find in very few players. Kohli, the player, with respect to views, I find much better, even after considering that their times were different. At present, his form is not up to the notch. Also, very lately, the pitches and game rules have been skewed to batsman's advantage. The era ganguly played was just gold. All his contemporaries are legends on their own.

I know Kholi might be technical sound but the success of his shots are largely due to flat pitches and hence there is no need to innovate to make runs, gunguly or the other players had different stories, also the kind of team played was different, if kholi is failing in flat pitches remember if he played in 90s era, all those records are just numbers that dont justify the actual difficulty, in history only the numbers will be accounted

Problem is that the runs are not coming from Kohli. He is consistently getting out in 40s. Something that didn't happen before. No great batsman gets out consistently after a start of 30 or 40. They make the opposition pay by scoring a hundred and more. That's the big issue. If and when Kohli starts making the hundreds and winning matches for India, he will be a dominant force once again. People thought Kohli will easily surpass Sachin's 100 100s. Now we see why that is extremely hard if downright impossible. The first 30 hundreds are way easier than the last 30 hundreds in the chase for 100 100s.

Well few facts are inaccurate as only Shastri was tested positive for Covid not Kohli and shastri too defended that even in hotel we have shared lobbies and lifts which are used by others also so to single out book launch event is unfair, according to him.

@@BisboWorld No. Everyone knows the series was not suspended because of quarantine. The series was suspended so that the main Indian players could go back for the IPL and quarantine because of UAE's new covid rules. Otherwise they would be missing matches. But they gave the reason of covid.

Defence forces are different, cricketers and other spprtspersons are different. For is on national duty, not a sportsperson. Latter enjoys some privileges, they can visit their family in between tours. Every individual has his/her emotional needs, sportsperson gets such privilege but war deployed men/women doesn't, which is a sad reality. Kohli had announced well in advance about paternity, even before the series started. It was just a bi-lateral series not an ICC event, If it was an ICC event, his options would be otherwise. In fact that was a grt call. He did not get his own t20 team for worldcup, this is what made him to quit captaincy, even a monkey's pick would have bought a better t20 team. Kohli requested players like chahal and others to be part of t20 team and board was so arrogant that they wanted him to play with their selection, and i am slso a fsn of rohith, but we are not sure at his current fitness form, will he be able to lead all thru the way, he can be only till 23 world cup captain and if he stays fit, so we dont have a proper captain now. When dhoni and kohli were made captains they did not have to think about for a decade, but not in the same case of rohith or we dont have a test captain now. Board took some hasty discussions and it was not discussed here.

Kohli no doubt took fitness of the team to a next level and this will continue. However, he has always been commercial with his high ego. His attitude has been to its peak during his prime time which has never been the case of Sachin. So it's quite evident to say he had less well wishers around him. Moreover, his family has always been a priority for him over national duty. Good luck to Kohli..hope your bad phase doesn't turn to a nightmare.

Actually, no side is innocent. Kohli was considering himself bigger than the game and he and Shastri controlled everything in Indian cricket. His wings had to be clipped. Ganguly is no saint either. He has a lot of ego (evident when he behaved as a captain when he overpowered the board to get players like Bhajji in). He had to settle scores with Shastri after what happened in selecting Kimble over him. He also wanted to teach Kohli a lesson when he was undermined and Shastri was brought back replacing Kumble.

Ganguly had huge ego but it was justified. He knew who would play good in which match in which ground and the management didn't know jack shit. He was very successful as a captain too. What matters at the end of the day is result. When Virat Kohli was captain India was losing matches it should have won and was struggling to actually obtain wins. Even then he never understood he's not a good captain. Even Sachin was a captain. But he understood he can't do it and that didn't make him any less important to the team.

Yeah I say the same thing. Kohli is in the same stage as Sachin was in 2005-07. He deserves a spot till 2023 WC simply because of his previous performances. Some things said in the video seem inaccurate. Virat said that he would like to continue captaining the team in ODIs and Tests. But if anyone in selection committee or any of the BCCI official thinks he shouldn't be captaining the team anymore, he would happily give it up. What rattled Ganguly was this incident. Virat told in the PC that when he told the selectors that he would step down, it was "very well received" but Ganguly had already told the media that he had asked Virat to carry on for the sake of the team. Ganguly's ego was hurt. And about Virat leaving the Australian Test tour after the first match, this was pre-decided. It was not like he decided to leave after the team was all out on 36. It was peak Covid time and Australia had very strict rules then. Everyone had to go through a 2 weeks quarantine after landing in Australia and it was non-negotiable. Virat wanted to return before 4th Test and play the game. But because of the strict rules, he couldn't. So, he decided to not come back for the Test series at all. The drama that's going on currently started after WTC final. Everyone lost their mind and wanted to blame someone. P.S.: Virat would have had easier time as Captain if he could win the damn toss in important matches like the Pakistan game in T20 WC and WTC final. Toss played a huge role in both the games and we are ignoring that. In fact, the T20 WC was all about winning the toss and chasing.

Virat Kohli's attitude might seem to be rude... But being agressive was helping our team and giving us the moral always. Virat has leadership qualities wherever he goes, he boasts the team. We have sledged Australians in their own backyard... No one will ever be able to do that without that fighting attitude. Talking about his attitude, the two tests that we won this summer in England was because of the intensity he bought into the team.... Us watching from television felt that energy and had a belief that we will win... He supported the players when a question was raised against them.... He was absolutely unstoppable from 2015 to 2019... People from Australia and England call Virat Kohli the ambassador of cricket... That's what standards he has set... Far beyond anyones reach 🤡

Earlier kohli used to work on his weaknesses by correction After she came , he started talking feel good words and philosophy , trying to cover every mistake and weakness . Talking about the performance. Despite having no any century in last two years, he is still one of the highest run scorers of the team. Kohli is a victim of his own greatness just like what you would say about smith. And for the t20 world cup games we lost against pak and newzealand go and re-watch, how miserably our top players including rahul and rohit had scored. It was not a captaincy failure but a batting unit failure. Thanks to Kohli in the game against Pakistan we got to get a respectable total on the board. I agree that his aggression sometimes looks like nonsense and in white ball cricket Rohit is a better captain. But whenever it will be about batting Kohli is still better than most of your so called superstars. Wait for the series abroad.

He couldn't create a solid batting order after 1,2,3. India still don't have a stable batting order due to musical chair selection of kohli. Any team can lose early wickets but if the other players know their role and don't worry about being dropped every other game, we'd have won world cups. Dhoni understood that and backed players until they performed.

When I saw this video last year I had also lost some hope but still continued to support him. But after that in Asia Cup and T20 WC he is back from 3yrs 0 century to 7 months 5 centuries what a return to form, he is even ruling IPL also

I don't know who is right or who is wrong, but my understanding for cricket is even sachin failed as captain though he was one of the top batsmen. That was the time when team india was suffering very badly there were no hopes. It is when dada entered the picture. He built winning india from scratch off course with help of sachin, dravid. He made discipline backbone of team. He then worked on moral and then finally on game. We are on the same stage again, but difference between both situations is opposite. Dada built an entire winning india team from scratch and virat got an ultimate team already a winning team. Doubting dada's statement would be foolish. I am sure he will bring discipline back to team which lacks a lot.

@@manojgowda9370 maybe, he is good batsmen but not a good captain. No need to get emotional. The thing being discussed is very straight. Dada will get and edge over virat. We will blindly trust dada over virat. Virat is actually a personality which no one can defeat, he only got defeated by his own ego, proud, he considered himself as king of cricket. He flew in rocket speed. If you see rahul dravid, sachin they hardly had any controversy. But virat had more controversy then runs.

Fully agree with you.It was Dada ,who gave it back to the Whiteman by making Steve Waugh wait for tge toss.That was the day when Indian Cricket team started getting respect from white players. Dada is Great.

I'll be honest here. I have been really appreciative of most of your videos. But when it comes to cricket or virat kohli you tend to be biased. 0:20 let's not forget playing cricket is his job, would you have been working or be with your partner she is giving birth to your child. Just because MSD missed the birth of his child for cricket doesn't mean virat should too. 2:40 there is no news that says that kohli and shastri got covid. Please verify and provide us with sources because if they did, why did bcci not include them in list of those who tested positive. Many of the other members of the team too went to watch Wimbledon and premier league matches. Specifically Ashwin and fielding coach Sridhar. Don't add false stories to make the video more meatier. Kohli's form has been below expectations but not poor. He's striking at an average of 50+.

Kohli's problem is that, he has completely lost himself in the world of Fame & Glamour. Please, have a look at all the renowned Indian Players except Kohli. All of them have been humble whereas, Kohli always behaves as if, he is some kind of Celebrity in the Squad. On one hand, Rohit is a very down to earth man who is always available to his fellow teammates. On the other hand, you have Kohli, who is available on appointments. Kohli has been completely absorbed by Fame & Money. For Kohli Fans, it's impossible to bring back the Kohli, whom you always loved.
