I am a 90's kid and I grew up watching Kumble as a legendary bowler. But I have to say that here in this case he was on the wrong side. He tried to coach team India the way the coaches in 2000s used to do when he was playing, i mean the chappel, john wright era. Strict discipline, classic style cricket. The new generation players don't want to play like that. They want freedom and rightfully they deserve too. Not only kohli, any other new new generation captain would have stand against kumble that time.
