The way the voice acting and the atmosphere come together is awesome. Creeping alone through a dark cave with the only audible noise being water droplets hitting the cave floor and Jack’s ragged, terrified breathing. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

There is not a single shooter that I've played in my life that left as strong of an impression on me as this game, the jungle setting feels dangerous just from the weather and scenerio's you're put through. Animations are absolutely solid from the gunplay to spearing enemies, atmosphere could switch from peak action to horror setting on a dime. Two things I really liked about the game. Firstly, the game doesn't tell you how much ammo you have. Jack has to check and tell the player. More realistic and it could cost you dearly if you didn't check for a while or forgot. Secondly, is the aspect of the food chain. Few games implement it as well as it is done here.

I played this on PS2 while I was in middle school and absolutely loved it. Definitely an underrated gem from the early 2000s.

This game is such a gem! I have the most fond memories of this game growing up and I absolutely loved the parts where one got to go around the island with a spear killing the bugs and taking in the raptors.

This is still one of my favorite games of all time. There is no other game like it and by now its surprising that no kind of Jurassic Park game was made in the same vein. The film-like presentation, survival mechanics, the way the game makes you feel helpless and small against these giant creatures. Even the insects are terrifying. Its just so well made.

Oh that lovely memorys i got here. The atmosphere and the voice actors ar amazing and on point. Everytime i was sick and stayed at home and not in school i played it and i finished it on 1 day in the later playthroughs. One of the best games on PS2. Even the German dub has the same voice actors from the german Movie dub

Normally tie-in video games are not done very well but this one is among the few that are great, managing to strike a balance between being faithful to the movie and being its own thing. Plus, it's just so much fun to play with going back between Jack and Kong. One is pretty much survival, and the other is pure fun of destruction. I remember playing this in 2005 and having so much fun. I really wish I had known about the bonus mission where you get to aid Kong in a plane during the final mission.

This was my first video game ever on the ps2 and probably the game I’ve finished the most times ever, so it’s holds a really special place in my heart. Glad to see it get some attention in 2023. Here’s hoping for a miracle remake🤞

I still remember playing the Xbox 360 demo in my Toys R' Us. Fighting the Trex in that small arena was such an experience for 2005. I love this game.

Brings back a lot of dear memories. Like being too scared to continue many many times, most noteably the first two big raptors, the first & v-rex encounter and the one at the river, the bridge with a bunch of bats coming from the ceiling and the stampede. Even if i tried, i could probably never forget these. I consider myself fortunate to have played this originally on console with a controller, so the controls weren't as awkward as on PC.

9 year old me played this when it first released. I was obsessed with the movie, game, and had comics with all the Skull Island lore. This was one of my fave games as a kid. Freaking awesome.

Legit one of my favorite dinosaur games of all time. The ambience of the world, the bleak atmosphere, the creatures. That part where the V-Rex suddenly appears for the first time and you have to avoid him. Thank you for this video. Gonna play again now!
