Honestly, this scene holds up so well after all these years. Not just the visuals, but the way the fight went. The T-rexes play around each other, Kong is circling around often to avoid bites, protect her, and all the while using every limb at his disposal. Actually, it was a reference to the original 1933 King Kong's T-Rex fight scene (ya can find it on KZbin if you're not familiar, but it's definitely some rough production). He does the exact same thing: opens and closes the monsters jaw a few times, then grabs it by the upper jaw and shakes it, then finally roars and goes about his business.
