King of the Monsters OST (Neo Geo) - Ugly Hero (Theme of Astro Guy)

Astro Guy is my favorite character in King of the Monsters. This game was so far ahead of its time, it was unbelievable. The graphics, sound, gameplay, and play control were all amazing. Astro Guy had such awesome music, too. It was like the theme of some sort of cool superhero that had been turned into a supervillain by toxic radiation that turned Captain America into the size of Godzilla.

I think according to the "story" or whatever Astro guy was an elderly scientist that transformed himself into the monster to fight the other 5, but I assume throughout the gameplay he slowly loses his sanity and just becomes one of the monsters he meant to stop.

@Dango Lanford which is true. The Atomic energy he absorbs drives him insane, hence the reason he becomes Atomic Guy in KotM 2
