Paul, I know this comment is a year after the video was made, but this is the first time I've seen it. To give you an idea of how I release the punch die from the King's Coin Ring centering card after the hole is punched I carry the hole guide (the harbor fright tool) over to my 1-ton press and push the punch on through. When it bottoms out I insert a small 1/4 inch screwdriver adapter under the arbor on top of the punch and push it on through. It all falls through, the cut piece from the coin, the punch itself and the little screwdriver extension. That's the simplest way I've found to release the punch from the holder. Been using Kings Coin Ring tools since I started making coin rings for over 2.5 years now and they work the best and easiest than others I've tried.

Paul, for quarters, I often use the HF 1T Arbor Press to punch the hole with the HF Punch Block. It's easy then to just push the punch all the way through using a smaller size punch. I also recommend using some cut lube on the end of the punch. It will extend the life of the punch. The King's Coin Ring Tools Universal Die Rest also comes with a spacer ring. The die rest is designed to accommodate both the 1-3/4" and the 1-1/2" diameter dies. Just slip the ring in place and the smaller quarter die will be perfectly centered in the die rest. You may need to adjust the guide on the bottom of the rest to center it up on your particular press (there are two screws on the underside, very simple to do). Once adjusted, the rest will keep your die centered for your press ram. Great video.

I have a half dollar ring that is the same year my daughter was born as a gift from my wife after we welcomed her into the family. I also have a quarter ring for my home state of Florida. I like the half dollar ring more because it doesn't turn my finger green like the quarter one does, but they're both very cool.
