Yes & it gets worse. I feel the vistors should not be allowed to go so close to the horses. Im City of London born & bred and from a child a regular visitor to the Mall & Horse Guards Parade etc am living abroad for many years. Always travelled to London regularly though & have moved with the times & accepted the changes. What I see now on these channels is a confirmation of the dumbed down world we live in, the lack of courtesy & basic common sense. And of course no knowledge of equine etiquette. Love to ask the horse what he thinks.😂

Finally, the woman with red curly hair said, "Thank you." I thought everyone had lost their manners. Before this the ony other, "Thank you, " I heard was from a 5 year old little boy. He actually thanked the guard and the horse too. The guard gave him a little sword tip in acknowledgement. It was adorable.

That’s a good point. Working dogs have a coat that says - do not pet ot words to that effect. These horses should not be touched. People are too stupid to realise that they are military horses. Saw a lovely video of a military dog at work. The handler suddenly gave the lead to the dog, a Labrador, and gave a hand signal. Then the lab ran around, rolled around, acted crazy for a few minutes then lay down next to his handler again. That was his break time and was off duty. The dog though asked for the break by his own signalling method, so the handler acted on. Guess the dog knew it needed to break out of its ‘good well trained dog’ for a bit of playtime. Was a fascinating watch as I didn’t know that was part of their training. Boy, did that dog co crazy for a bit, but only ever 10 ft from his handler.

Not sure which horse this is but well done. I would like the people laughing at this to experience the wrath of a fed up horse. It isn't funny at all for a horse to do this it must be really fed up! When will the bosses realise this is torture for these poor animals and either limit the number around the horse or stop people being near them at all. Also how thick do you have to be to watch a horse really grab someone and pull them nearly over and then go and stand too close to them. Not many brain cells there.

Race is very evident in most countries. I notice tourists will not pose with a black king's guardman but they will crowd the next white guard for a photo.They are both soldiers that will sacrifice their lives for all regardless of race so respect all soldiers.

In allen diesbezüglichen Videos habe ich nur zwei Frauen erlebt, die sich dafür bedankt haben, daß sie ein Foto von Reiter und diesem herrlichen Pferd machen durften. Ansonsten vermisse ich jeglichen Respekt gegenüber dem Tier. Warum glaubt Jeder, es anfassen zu müssen. Ich habe mein Leben mit Deutschen Doggen verbracht und möchte da nicht stehen. Apparently the very clear warning sign in simple English is not enough. Perhaps a large banner announcing across the gate that says "This is NOT a Petting Zoo" mihht help spare the amazing animals the poking, proding, pulling they are subjected to right under the sign that says not to do so. I suppose one imagines that a cute photo of your toddler held up near a horse's heads will be a nice memory however, the memory of a painful horse bite, and possibly a broken bone, might not be a memory that toddler will have the fondest memory of, or having a horse spook just enough to bring its hoof down on your youngster's foot in a pretty long lasting and painful way. And of course its always the horse or rider's fault.

If one horse is playing up more than the other one, then the video person will focus on that one more because the horse will more than likely play up in some form or another, i.e., prodding, pulling at or biting people to not get so close or simply trying to make it clear to his rider that he doesn't want to be in the box today. Viewers are fascinated by this and want to see what will happen.

I don't think day trippers should be able to stand too close to the horses, and I certainly don't think it should be possible for veterans to come by for a chat while you are on guard. As far as I'm concerned, veterans are allowed to go into the stables for that chat with the chaps, but from now on they have to leave the peppermint and sugar cubes at home. In the field of animal nutrition, the elderly may also receive occasional tutoring. Keep it professional, don't turn it into a circus attraction yourself.
