One of the most underrated parts of this anime's writing is Komugi's character. Being in her position, blind, is whole different perspective of perceiving the world and the creatures around her. She never realized she was talking to monsters and kept building her own image of them based on auditory and sensory cues, but never visual cues. And the fact that she was the reason the King changed his heart as well until he himself experienced that blindness in his last moments.. SO GOOD
