Very nice! How long does the butane gas last in one dremel cannister before in needs to be refilled?

I think I refilled 3times during this picture. Obviously it will slightly depend on how you control the size of flame. Only used half of that butane can.

From the tip to the plastic thread is hot. But after that everything is fine. I think the gas in the tube actually keeps it cool

What i dont like of it, is that you cant take it near the tip, as you usually do with a normal pencil. I dont know if there is some pyrograph that allow you to handle it near the tip, because hot.

No this is a plywood sheet. Probably a Beech based hardwood. My biggest advice is to try any type and see if it works for you.
