endless fun :) amazing how one can use a pair o' scissors to practically do anything, but when opening a box, a thin screwdriver is used :) other than that, very interesting tool and review

I recently got a scanner. I had the same code for my Colorado. The thermostat was stuck open and the temperate after warmup was only half of normal. Replaced the themostat and it's back in range and heats up fast, which is a good thing as winter is here now. These things are well worth the money.

Enjoyed this review. I bought an expensive OBD2 tablet on Amazon, supposedly designed to handle the high security of Chrysler vehicles for my 2015 Dodge Dart. You can program a key fob, but you can't change all the parameters for the different car options by downloading the latest code, because Stellantis has it locked down. Long story why that was needed for me (bad PCM, etc.) I bought a Bluetooth dongle that is supposed to work with a phone app for these cars. Meanwhile, i had to pay the dealer to reprogram the new PCM. Quite the adventure. Your tablet was almost as full featured as the one i paid almost $900 for. Amazon took it back, to their credit.

Thanks Dave. I'm on the Hunt for a bi-directional unit so I get my 2002 Jeep to recognize new Lock Fobs. Lost the originals to the House fire. found them melted into a Blob... the Stealers want $80 to $100 to Program the Jeep...

Dave, I wonder if those old airbag codes on the Volt were due to a low battery condition.

Battery is not low. It might have 210k on it but it still runs fine. No lights were on, so it isn't serious enough to trip a DTC

Hey, reaching out in hopes that I could potentially have you fix my Sony M-570V corder. I got it from a friend while we were clearing out her garage full of hoarded stuff. There is no tape movement, and from one of your videos I watched, it's way beyond my ability to fix. Hope to see a reply! Thanks!
