I agree, I wish there was a third party I could vote for. Not because I'm liberal here, and conservative there or whatnot... but because both parties play Establishment Politics outside of actual politics. And my party - the party I was born and raised, and will support until some major political shift like how the two parties flipped previously, or until we get TWO additional viable third (and technically fourth party) - has become Republican-lite lately in terms of being friendly to corporations/Wall Street, banks/bankers, and the insurance companies. That other party on the other hand... SMH, the party of Christian Nationalists/Evangelicals and other Christian extremists who spread hate, lies, and fear about communities they know nothing about, throwing around words like "groomer" or "pedopxxle" towards innocent people, putting their lives in danger, threatening their lives. That party openly embraces openly fascist/white supremacy/antisemitic/racist organizations. It's the party that wants to control women, many of their constituents, or even politicians believe in traditional, submissive wives. No thank you.

It certainly is that way now. But only a few of years ago it was a genuine choice between a bunch of despicable, lying, self-serving old boys who wanted to carry on enriching themselves, and a decent, moral, progressive party that genuinely wanted to improve the country and help normal people, and told us exactly how they were going to do it. And what happened? We weren't allowed to vote for the latter, of course. They were targeted and brought down by one of the most concerted smear campaigns in history, and put in a no-win situation over Brexit.
