Packed with Samsung LM301H EVO white LEDs, Osram 660nm deep reds & 730nm Far Reds. This fixture delivers a full spectrum output suitable for growing from seed to harvest.
The power supply is an 800 watt Inventronics LED driver, very high quality and efficiency. It can be mounted on the back of the light or remotely outside the grow tent.
I tested it in a 5x5 at 24" or 60cm hanging height with the Apogee ePAR sensor. The average PAR was 835 µmols across the test area and delivers a system efficiency of 2.39 usable PPF/watt.

One of its most unique features that allowed the outer bars to angle outward wasn't tested. It should have been Par tested to see the change in spread.

Yeah, that would be interesting to really "dial it in" for maximum effect. I didn't expect it though, as he's really just giving them a free ad, and showing us what's available. I believe Coco for Cannabis channel, and LED Grow Lights Depot channel, have an affiliation with Shane, and often do longer, more in depth reviews of the same fixtures. LED Grow Lights Depot sells Migro fixtures and equipment, while Coco for Cannabis channel doesn't sell fixtures, but does very "in depth" reviews, so maybe he'll do one..?!👍💯🙏✌️

I don't think it's going to matter much, if at all. I grow in the SOG. And I have found that the projected light from LEDs don't produce enough par to grow efficiently. If I don't have diodes over every plant, their growth suffers dramatically.

​@assog5737 led over the entire canopy is typical Led grow style. What's your issue with having to do that? Unless your hung up on legacy HID tech for sentimental reasons, or a need for heat issue. Running SOG with led over a non mono crop is ideal. I run SCROG proper, with no lower branches, and on my first run with led I've increased yield by 25%- 30%. You just lower your light to increase PAR. There isn't any legacy tech that can match quality led in umol/j. Maybe a brand new dbl end in the newest ballast (might) hit 2.5 umol/j. That's a big maybe. But I bet after 30 days that's down to 2.2

​@tonydc1829any quality led getting over 2.5 umol/j. HLG, and GML have the highest on the market, with possible ChilLEd coming in 3rd. I personally use HLG lighting, but I really do like GMLs lights

@@Khaymen223 Typical comment from somebody that thinks they know everything, but doesn't know 💩 about the way I grow. Dude I've been growing cannabis, probably longer than you've been alive. I bought my first LED the first month they hit the market. And I've bought well over 25 of them since. Even the newer ones that all you so called experts think are great. And like I stated in my previous comment. Since I grow in the SOG. I get to see what effect all these lights have on individual plants. So lets say I have a LED bar light fixture, that I just spent 1400 bucks for. Lets say that there is a 4 to 6 inch gap in between the bars. Every plant within that gap will only grow half as big as the plants directly under the diodes (the bars). And it doesn't matter what the f#$k the height of the fixture is. I get the same results. So to solve this problem. A little over 10 years ago. I started building my own LED light fixture, to the dimensions I need. So I have diodes over every single plant. And this has solved my problem. I have had this discussion well over a thousand times. And none of you so called experts will ever understand, till you grow in the SOG. And see the results for yourself. Which I really don't give a 💩 if you do or not.

still have my original kingbrite and ran it 247 for months in winter veg... still one of the OG brands before most, decent support by email, and shipping during the cargo issues was only ten days to midwest in the states... back when led staryed, kingbrite was literally half price of hlg, but same results in side by side comparisons in my own area...

My very first Quantum Board was a self assembled KingBrite 250W 3500k+660nm. I bought that back in 2018, its still running strong in one of my Tents 6 years later. It was never really handled with care and spent 2 years in the police evidence room. I got it back, had to solder a broken led connection to make whole row work again, and its back in action. Now just a couple more months and hopefully Germany will legalize.

I got mine and in veg i have yet to see this speed of growth. Unbelievably fast 9 days and ill have to flip to flower in under 3 weeks for sure. The frame is a bit small could have been 4x4. Its 3x3, But for the price and quality i have no complaints.

I dont get why the KB/alibubbers use the lm301h EVO on its own. The whole point with it is to use the evo 437nm photon pump together with the 450nm pump of standard chips to push both chloro A and B. The efficiency gains you see in the EVO are somewhat apples to oranges: for a specific cct (say 4000k) the evo uses less phosphor and consequently has a larger blue spike in its spectrum than a regular 450nm based chip.

Kingbrite lights look rough and cheap at first sight but the quality of the components is excellent. Their prices are going up. Calculate the total price including their expensive shipping rate and customs duties to compare with lights from other brands. I chose Viparspectra for my latest light, more expensive in the webshop but still cheaper delivered to my door

Pretty amazing coverage since tbe light is only 3ft x 3ft Some of the 4ft x 4ft lights have very similar avg. PPFD If they have a 4x4 light cud use it over a 6x6...nice light looks a lil strange but kewl

sure you could use a 4x4 light in a 6x6 area. You are covering 36 square feet instead of 16. So the total ppfd per square foot would drop accordingly and the spread of light would be very bad. To cover 6x6 I personally would use 4 lights designed for a 3x3 area.

Im scared of switching from mars hydro since im sfraid of heat buildup in the tent. But it feels like soon heat not gonna be an issue anymore. I live how far we gotten when it comes to grow light. I still have my old hps on the attic 😅 msybe tome to throw them out soon

Yeah I agree with you! I think before I would adjust the light I would just get another light to cover that area, I just would prefer to have enough of light instead of stretching it out! I'm curious if it's loss of par intensity underneath the lights that would be turned!

​@@PureTruth1970the point of the adjustments is to prevent hotspots but u would need to test the light like he does with a meter. That way u do t have to raise the light to get a more even distribution. As u know there is always a hot spot dead center of the light.

Would this not fit in a 3x3? I see dimensions are 98cm x 90cm. My tent is 100cm x 100cm. To me that's a perfect fit.

Warning for diy guys and this daisy chains: they work correctly only with 48b version of meanwell. I can’t known why, but if I connect kingbrite daisy chains for 1400b drivers it’s flashing my lights or brightness not 100%

Hello I can recommend you the viperspectra KS 3000 it cost 400 Euro 320 watt and the Light spread is very Uniform because the lamp is 80x80 centimeter. Mars hydro and other lamps at 300 watt are only 60x60 centimeter.
