Kingdom Come Deliverance II Trailer Reaction

Jesus Christ be praised! 🙏 We've been waiting so long to hear news about KCD 2! I'm so hyped. This was my first time seeing the new trailer and I can't wait to play the game. I hope there's a PS5 port or I'm going to need to finally get a gaming PC or something 😬 Anyway, here are my thoughts!

Those coats - they filmed it in winter in the night. It was cold as hell in there.

That makes sense, thanks for the insight! 🥶 On a somewhat related note, I wonder if KCD2 will have weather/temperature mechanics like in RDR2. Would be interesting imo!

@@esthetekgames I don't belive it will. It will takes place in late summer, maybe early autumn, so ot much difference in temperatures. And for dressing yourselves - with armor there is no difference how cold of warm is it, you need all the layers on yourself for armor to work as it should anyway. So there is not much need for that mechanics anyway.

Yeah it was shot at subzero temperatures in january at night xD And we only see snippets but the devs talked for 20-30 minutes so they were freezing :) Alchemy was shown in the trailer, as was blacksmithing. They were quickshots so I guess you missed them. The rebuild village was Pribyslavitz.

Yeah I guess I was too distracted by the handgonnes and crossbows to notice the alchemy haha 😅 No central heating in a medieval cathedral on a winter night.. 🥶 Those musicians and singers were real troopers 🫡

Were you there or are you sure about that? I can't imagine the choir singing and instruments being played in that cold of temps...... I've played woodwinds and stuff in the rain/sleet in freezing Temps and it's utterly miserable if not impossible to play. Subzero? Yeah idk lolol. I'd be a bit surprised if they don't have some kind of heating in there to protect the cathedral from unnecessary aging, at the very least.

@@Jordan-rb28 It is what the devs said, but it could have been exxageration, I doubt they actually measured it. But January was cold.

It is funny, how much there are loyal KCD community. Basicaly creators with a few subscribers have a lot of view stonks on reaction of KCD2.

If you look on the map Austria is really long way from Kuttenberg (Kutná hora in Czech) and Hungary is at least twice a distence. 😅😅😅

Great video! I think you might have bought into the all-too-common gimmicks from the big game companies such as character creation (changing hair color) and 3rd person mode (at least during certain combat scenes) and I really don't think those are what this game is about. I think the journey you have in the game, if you really make of the most of it, make up for not having those, and then some. And it would probably make a lot of people feel dissolutioned if all the sudden Warhorse gave those gimmicky features to the players and Henry now has red hair and you no longer see those combat techniques from the first person -- does nothing but detract from the immersion. Just my thoughts haha
