Regardless of ur skill, always try the longshot. It will agro an ambush member and flush out the rest from hiding. That way if rng just threw 6-7 high difficulty attackers you have time to re-evaluate if its worth the risk to engage

Literally chest shot with hans' bow will have them continue. Low archery shouldn't matter when the arrow is talking to ur heart.

My longest range kill was made during the tamberg robbery quest with matthew and fritz. Shot a guard dead whilst standing on the edge of the cliff I took 5 shots lmao

Not using the better long distance arrow? I've never used the quality ones because they didn't seem as good stat wise

Better Long distance is alright... Personally, I use Better Piercing with Dollmaker poison or Better Wounding with Bane poison. Both work really well when paired with a fast-drawing bow like Capons or the 62-power Cuman bow. Quick shots with potent effects! Obviously, Better Long Distance arrows work great with the Sinew bow for those long-ranged high-damage shots. But that's so inconsistent and slow that I prefer to use something fast with a higher chance to swing a fight. Plus, Dollmaker Poison on arrows basically takes an enemy out of the fight as you back up. Then you can hit them with those poisoned Wounding Arrows and watch them slowly die from bleeding and poison. It's beautiful.
