Hmm...that’s a good question. well he has a black pridelander nose, verses a black outsider nose like Kovu. No green or red eyes that have traditionally been used for “bad guy” lions either. And no visible scar which in lion king logic means he’s probably not evil. Of course he isn’t a part of the pride so he’d be an outsider even if he’s not part of the “outsider pride”. Though I could see him being accepted into the Pridelanders after all this. 🤷‍♀️

To be completely honest- my very favorite voice of Shenzi so far is Whoopi Goldberg because she’s a good influence while Tress MacNeille’s a bad influence. In other words, Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane do a great job and a much better job of doing the voices of Simba and Timon.

Re watching this, I didn't realize that they reused James Earl Jone's recordings. Side by side with the movie scenes they sound so alike with a bit of spliced dialog. Talk about saving money on using existing recordings than getting him to do short lines. Especially using the exact same yell JTT did in the movie.

If you wouldn't tell me, I would've thought that Simba is voiced by Matthew Broderick. Instead, his Voice Actor in KH2 is Cam Clarke, who also played Simba in the Timon and Pumbaa show. Huh, cool.
