Xion is in my opinion the most tragic character in Kingdom Hearts in the very end, the things that she fought to keep until the very end were the cause of her demise. Her friends, her memories, and herself. In the end no one remembered her. In a way, she was the only real Nobody among them, even though she deserved to be someone more than all of them. She gave up her very being for a boy she had never met, and lost herself in order to save the ones she held most dear. I miss Xion ):

I think the people who laugh at Roxas' line of "Who else will I have ice cream with?", don't understand how much having ice cream with his friends meant to him. You have to understand that those daily treats on the clock tower brought about many things that made the three closer together. The ice cream symbolized the sweetness of thier friendship and the saltiness of thier pain. When Roxas said that, I burst out in tears. He said it desperately, because he realized those days had come to an end.

Xion's story is sad, in all truths. She is able to be related to by many people, simply because of her background, why she was created, what her purpose was, and up to her becoming what she was meant to be - memories that finally belonged to Sora once again. Xion, a puppet created merely to serve as a mirror of Sora and his abilities, held memories from him that were temporarily put inside of Roxas. She finally realizes what she is meant to do, and completely succumbs herself to her destiny as a "puppet", and finally reverts herself to what she was always meant to be - Sora's memories placed back where they truly belonged. It's sad that she was created just as a mirror image of Sora and his abilities, but that's just what makes Xion special to all of us. Being placed in a world where she's forced to play the role that those strings are moving her to play, is a terribly sad story and fate indeed, however, had she not done what she did at the end, Sora would never have awakened again.. and Kingdom Hearts would not be the series it is today. Xion was an important part of this game, because she truly was the reason Sora was able to awaken in the end - she was, in fact, a mirror of him created to mimic his abilities, but gained false memories that were his own from the start, and thus lead the series to a screeching halt until she would finally return those memories to him for the sake of everyone else - Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Yen Sid, Merlin.. and those he had met and befriended along this journey. Xion will live forever in our hearts, I'd say.

The entire time I was battling Xion, I kept thinking, "Xion... Why?" I didn't want to fight her, just as I'm sure Roxas didn't. By the end of the game I felt like I was one of the gang too.

Gosh, every day that passed in this game was so agonizing... It was terrible watching Roxas, Axel and Xion drift apart. I don't know how many times I cried through the course of the story, but Xion's Theme would always hit my heart the hardest. :'(

Sora Story: Sad; lost both his friends, one of which turned to Darkness, and subseuently, against him. But in the end, they all reunited together Ventus Story: Tragic; lost his heart, but it now resides in Sora who will one day return it to its rightful owner. Roxas Story: Bittersweet; happily accepts his union with Sora, but no longer exist a "another." Xion Story: Heartbreaking; created as a tool for the Organization, and her friend forced to wipe her from her "subexistence", forgotten. :'(

@Y2Jctv It's a kind of tradition in the organization, because the original name of Xemnas' complete being Xehanort is without the X an anagram. ("No heart" or "another"). He noticed that and reversed it as a kind of tradition in the organization. He believes that a name gives someone a purpose. BTW: As Vexen "created" a replica of Sora, he called it the "No. I project". So, that was the origin of Xions name.

@Tiff2d6 actually, roxas is his nobody. xion was A puppet made by xemnas and saix to capture soras memories so they could have both a keyblade wielder under their control in case roxas ever turned, and so that sora couldn't be restore cause of his lost memories in Xion. that's why Xion looks so much like kairi, cause sora's memories of her are in Xion.

I always felt bad for Roxas in kingdom hearts 2, and when playing through days I still felt sorry for the guy, but when I got to know Xion's character... Let's just say the battle between Roxas and Xion was one of the hardest bosses I've ever faced, gameplay wise and emotionally. This will always be one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard from this franchise, and it only reminds me of the scene where Roxas holds Xion in her final moments...

don't worry she's coming back in the '3rd kingdom hearts' game. according to kingdom hearts re:coded they need to get Roxas, Axel, and Xion in order to defeat Xehanort. and its not just those three, they need to gather some other people as well, but those three were listed so they will be back. ;)

I dont care what people say about the game, gameplay, story, voice or anything. I actually LIKED 358. And I liked Xion. I don't get how she's a Mary-Sue to so many people. In all honesty, she's almost as strong as Aqua. She gave herself up. She almost went crazy. She was a PUPPET and she knew it and she STILL tried to live. She protected her best friends and in the end she was forgotten. I loved Xion. And I will respect her as much as I respect Aqua.

@Diamonddeathness (continued from part 1) that Sora must heal the suffering of Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Xion, Namine, Roxas, and Axel. and that the time will come "when they must rise from their sleep." i think thats pretty straight forward. and think about it, Ven's Heart is a part of sora's in the exact same way that Kiari's Heart was a part of Sora's. so when Sora goes to find Ven he will have to give up his Heart again, thus fixing Ven and.....
