I love how Riku is basically someone who picked "Darkness" as their elemental alignment, in an RPG system where Darkness is an objective and tangible narrative force. He's powered by Bad Guy Energy, but he's not a bad guy.

"What does darkness smell like though?" Well, in my books it depends on how you perceive it. You can't always smell it, but when you can if you don't like darkness it smells like whatever is most disgusting to you. If you like it, it smells good. If you hate it it hurts extra much, and if not it just feels like being punched. Same thing with light magic. I am a writer.

this Is very late but there's somethiing very special to me about the anti-hero/gray character being the one Mickey "adopts" or takes under his wing instead of it immediately being the hero. I think that's a kinda cool thing

I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed this journey with you guys. I was on a nostalgia trip but you bought charm and fun and really enjoyable energy to this playthrough. I really enjoyed the voice-overs and the editing bumps. Your love of the game and animation and voice acting really showed through, it was very interesting. Thank you for both of your hard work.

This was fun to watch! I played the gba version when I was young and I dug it out today and loaded it up. I ended Sora and Riku at level 54 and evidently put most of those levels into health. 😂 This was fun to experience again! Thanks for grinding through all the tedious battles for us. :)

honestly, there’s an old fairy tale about changelings hating the smell of iron. for me sensing the smell of a person isn’t really too weird, as some people do have a smell they give off that tells you their profession. A doctor should smell like soap or disinfectants. hairdressers and barbers smell like shampoo or hairspray - or burning hair. Firefighters smell like ash and rubber…hopefully nothing worse. I would imagine Nobodies smell like stone and ash or very acrid smoke, like burnt earth, dirty wood somebody shoves into their fireplace in my neighborhood on cold nights and makes me sick. hopefully the smell of darkness isn’t blood.
