This was the video that sent me down a habit hole of Kingdom Heart lore. I had to check it out when people said that there are only 2 jokes. After like a few hours, I can now confirm yeah this is it, outside of the 2 jokes and some made-up names (like there is a time traveling young xehanort, just that he isn't called xenodouglas), it's all accurate. "LMAO THE STORY IS SOOO CONFUSING" is a meme and this video is building up on that meme so people are hopping on the bandwagon because most of them haven't played the games. He got some things right on purpose so most people will get them and then threw a bunch of intentionally confusing non-true shit in there to make it seem like this parody is funny but actually based on the truth. It's not, there are many mistakes in the vid and lots of false things, yet people believe them completely because "yeah it's possible, it's KH after all". For example saying Ventus is one half of a powerful keyblade is completely wrong and "Xemnas is actually Ansem and both of them are xehanort clones" is also bullshit as they are 2 separate beings that spawned from Xehanort when he died. A clone is the same exact being as you, nobodies and heartless are separate beings with their very own personality and goals. Just because Xemnas and Ansem decided to team up with Xehanort doesn't mean they're clones of him. The closest thing to a clone the series had is Replica Riku and Xion. Nobodies are not clones and calling them as such dumbs down the story and makes it sound stupid as fuck. Getting norted doesn't make you a clone either, Braig isn't a Xehanort clone, Aqua isn't a Xehanort clone etc. They are vessels for Xehanort to insert himself into but they haven't completely become Xehanort yet as they retain their personalities and memories. Sora isn't a Ventus clone just because he has Ven's heart inside him.

Not only are lots of plot points explained less and less coherently as time goes on, but there are also lots of 100% unnecessary plot points such as the Ansem identity theft and the concept of Norting that SOUND cool and important when first introduced, but can not only be ignored, actually add to the general confusion, and not in a good way.

@@Nyzer_ Hey, I never said how good it was because that's all up to personal opinion, my opinion is that it's amazing (not so much from a story-telling point but just experiencing all the twists and turns is really entertaining for me). I only said that it's less confusing if you play the games in order... I never said it WASN'T confusing, just less so. Some people try to learn the story in chronological order and if you do that, you play/watch Union X first which has basically EVERYTHING from the rest of the series; Data worlds, Time Travel, Masters, characters transferring their hearts into other characters, etc. The intended order is less confusing... it's still confusing as hell at some points... just much less so than the chronological order.

He forgot to mention the visual novel that you really needed to read because it explains where Sora's mom was after the first Kingdom Hearts. Why is that important? Because she is secretly Aqua from the distant future that may or may not be covered by KH3 when it comes out. Then you forgot the actual TCG where they give you the lore through the flavor texts of each card, so if you're lost on finding the rare cards like Xemnas, Tribal Jacket Mode or Sentai Sora Black, just look it up on the internet, it's real simple. You also have to play this ARG game that requires you to go to the Square Enix website, get the password from a link, now you need to write that down because you have to travel to the actual Square Enix studio in Japan, and say that password to the receptionist where she'll make an appointment for you to talk to Nomura and he'll give you access to the Lore Library on the 13th floor of the building. There's no KH 3.3.3 Ultimate Remix of the Hearts yet so this is the only way to do this for now. C'mon, the story for this baby game with Disney characters and anime characters is real simple, it's a real shame you guys always complain about how hard it is.

He was just chose to be used to create it, but anyone could be used. 2 Riku wasn't possessed by Ansem until the end of KH1 and Sora didn't need to unlock his heart to defeat Ansem, he did that to give Kairi her heart back. 3 Xemnas isn't Ansem, he is Xehanort nobody which is a bit different. 4 Young Xehanort doesn't come from an alternative timeline. It's litterally one timeline and he comes from the past.
