So with the Silhouettes; Dan's pretty much right. There are five in total across the game which are pretty much Kingdom Hearts 2 versions of their CoM fights. Defeating one gives a recipe for crafting a item themed off of their weapon, being: a piece of armor, an accessory that raises magic and ap, an accessory that raises Strength and ap, the second best weapon for Donald and the Second best weapon for Goofy(those last two are debatable.) The fights very in difficulty a fair bit from one another and frankly if overleveled you'll just steamroll over them with ease. Played this recently on Proud mode, so normal might be easier by comparison, but the hardest of them probably took me to about lv. 70 before I felt like I had a reasonable chance of winning, and even then that was by a slim margin after a few attempts. Anyways, once you unlock this one, I think the other ones appear in world you would have already visited as well, but never checked to know for certain.

Assuming the game sticks with Auron's original lore, it would seem that Hades governs the deaths from all worlds. Auron is not really the kind of guy who would fight in the colosseum just for the fun of it. (And back then, the game kinda spoilered Auron's fate without me even knowing who he was)

Also, if you happen to read this, may I suggest turning Auto-Limit off You can do it by going to each new partner's Ability sheet. This will make sure you can do the reaction commands specific to each foe Whenever you wish to, you can unleash them manually by going to the Limits option, in the Commands' menu (on the second page, just below Party)

So, the Party choosing mechanic... I always thought it was a little tacked on. Having to choose which character would go along with Sora felt pointless: the decision was limited (2 characters from a pool of 3, with just 1 of the options changing in a regular basis); playing around the lack of a particular character was pretty consistent (Sora can do everything, you could play the entire game with him alone, if it was possible); all characters level-up, regardless if they were in the fight or not; you could always change party members on the fly... There are no stakes in selecting one character in place of another. The choice really boiled down to which Forms and Limits you would like to use. I don't believe having a fourth member in the party would make that big of a change. Maybe performance would suffer, and it would require a little bit of re-balancing, but still... It just felt dumb, that's all.

Just a few more tips that could help you. MP Rage only restores MP when the bar is blue, i.e. you have mana. Once it turns pink, MP Rage does not help. Only the MP Haste abilities affect the recharge time. Use the X button on limits! You are missing half the attacks otherwise. The gummi missions are not worth showing. Just the same missions with different objectives. Lvl 1 is medal hunt (hit lvl 30 medal in mission), lvl 2 is kill x amount of enemies, and lvl 3 is score attack. Each mission has it's own treasure list, so you'll want to do them to give more gummy choices. If you are in beginner mode, to see the secret ending you will need to complete Jimminy's Journal, which is daunting. Even have to S Rank all the gummy missions too!

OK, FFX is, like, the only Final Fantasy Game I really bonded with. I've beat FFIX, and I'm pretty sure the canonical ending of FFVII is sitting dead at the feat of Sephiroth, on a doomed world, but FFX just stuck. Seeing Auron was awesome. And thematically appropriate.

He "lives under the name of Sanders" - a phrase that normally means someone is using a fake name, but which is clarified in the text to mean that there is a sign above his door saying "Mr Sanders". Speculation is that it's the name of a previous occupant, but it's possible that Pooh used the name for some purpose.
