They really got the perfect cast for the English voices, didn't they? I prefer pretty much all of them in English, with the exception of Xigbar and Xaldin, but only because their Japanese voices are just as good, they are on par with the English ones.

that's because at the time they were making it, Uchiyama Kouki was in his teen..........to see his late voice try to hear 385/2's Roxas and compare it to Infinite Stratos's Orimura Ichika. He voices both characters.

It's amazing how close the English voices are to the Japanese ones. I think the English Demyx sounds better. Hard to describe, but I just like it more.

No wonder. Once I heard the Japanese Saix, I knew I've heard it from somewhere before. Kirk Thorton took the role of Jin from Samurai Champloo while Ginpei Sato was also the voice actor for Jin.

@Arisedearest Explanation: During the battle of 1000 Heartless the Nobodies were able to easily overpower the Heartless, so the fact that they are much more intelligent and are just as powerful than Heartless and Nobodies are able to think for themselves and attack with definite planning (as opposed to the Heartless, which are mindless and function on pure animal instinct) only heightens the threat that they pose.

It's probably not the same person, but Roxas' Japanese voice sounds a lot like either Allen Walker of D. Gray-Man or Captain Hitsugaya of BLEACH. And yes, I know those two characters are voiced by different people.

I honestly prefer the Japanese for Axel and Luxord, not many others though. I just have a soft spot for Keiji Fujiwara and Jouji Nakata though. They voice some of my favorite characters (Leorio from HxH and Kirei from Fate respectively)

@Uruya6 Lol!! I never actually played KH2, but I know the main gist of the story line from reading up on it on Wiki and watching cutscenes. Only today have I ever really looked up Xaldin and Luxord's voices in English. I'm...hurt. Xaldin really doesn't sound as gruff as I figured he should and Luxord doesn't sound English as a lot of people make him out to be (but his actor WAS born in England!). Because I love KH so much, I'll get over this, but it was pretty surprising.

xigbar's japanese voice is the same as deneb/jiriya and many other great charecters and for demyx, his voice is ryutaros, which is the only one i know

i dont know why but to me Axel's english voice seems like it changes a lot, sound um i guess smooth when he is serious to, but in fight mode he sounds almost like Reno is voiced, maybe its just me (heck his voice sounds different in 3ds, deeper i would say)

lol. Both of Axel's voice actors are the same ones Squeenix used for Reno. Demyx's japanese voice actor is also Zack's japanese voice actor. And there was one other voice actor used in an anime. >.>

Damn, when I think of Roxas' japanese voice, I think of Naruto Uzumaki in both english and Japanese. (Especially Naruto's Japanese voice.) Jesse definently won on that one. Axel, like I said as well as everyone else, sounds much more unique and fitting in English than in Japanese. The blonde with the beard is roughly equal in japanese and english voices.The surfer dude had a funny voice, but his character personally was better in japanese.

I love how Roxas sounds more like a kid in the Japanese version, but I have no real preference for any of the voices in KH (maybe the way some of the lines are delivered, "Feeling a little, re-gret?" ew, DX) But I love both the Japanese and English versions of all the voices, ^^

Xigbar is like two different characters in English and Japanese. English Xigbar is laid back and uncaring. Japanese Xigbar is a bit of a creeper and sounds like he's always up to something. :P The funny thing is they both perfectly suit his character. (though, because i'm biased for pickles, i prefer listening to the English version) (btw English Luxord FTW :D)
