@@Anthonycheesman33 The first three films were focused on Ceaser’s journey, and with his death in the third film, I figured that was all that the writers had in mind. This new film struck me as an attempt to milk the franchise for a little more cash. I didn’t think that they had any more story to tell. Apparently, I was wrong. I liked the first three films in this new series, so I’m pleased to hear that the producers apparently still have in interesting story and interesting characters to show the audience.

I personally love the entire reboot trilogy. I understand why War was disappointing for you, but for me, Ceasar's inner war with himself was gripping to watch. There was a war between apes and humans in the two years between Dawn and War, but we just got the one battle at the beginning of War though we do see the effects of what the war is doing to the apes and of course Ceasar and how it changes him. With all that said, I'm very excited about this movie and the franchises future.

I head that way too much about War. I get it, but I’m not sure it’s fair. War is a masterpiece. It’s a shame the marketing seemed to ruin it for so many.

War between men, yes. The apes were barely involved with the war, and they had nothing to do with it.

"There was no war," you say? I understand you might have expected or desired an action-packed war akin to an eight-year-old's Michael Bay fantasy, but it was Caesar's War. There were battles and fights, but the real war was the internal conflicts within him throughout the film.
