OBVIOUSLY im LATE to the discussion, BUT, it is way easier to film/capture black people in the dark than it is in a bright surrounding. 18% grey and contrast is all imma say.

Dragon Blade saw it when it first came out and at the time I liked it. Not sure nowadays. But Hey! I am a Chan Fan. Though his recent movies are mediocre to say the least.

He is in America, a major participant within the terroristic global system of racism white supremacy. Now: 1. Hollywood was not created for the benefit of black/non-white people. Of course they would exalt their own first. 2. He should of diversified his skillset. In all that time he'd been acting, he should have learned to write, direct and produce - therefore diversifying his income streams within hollywood. 3. He should have invested in other business opportunities - tech, oil property, crypto etc. I want to empathize for the guy, but he should have surrounded himself with people who thought more logical.

If you like this you should check out "Righting Wrongs " AKA "Above the Law" similar premise but with a Vigelante story line good ole Brutal 1980s Hong kong Action Starring Yuen Biao and Cynthia Rothrock.

The way I ran to KZbin after watching the finale! I’m late to the Penguin party, but I’m here and I’m pissed! The way he did Victor😢, but could I really be shocked knowing what he did to his own brothers and yet I was! The series is EPIC! Let me unpause so I hear your takes on this phenomenal series! #dieoz

All respect, Brandon, but I think you were just tired. Just left the movie watching it with my daughter and I came away absolutely blown away. The storyline, the voices, the musical score, the culture, the characters, especially Rafiki, were all incredible!. For someone who came in with mediocre expectations from watching this video last night I couldn’t be more wonderfully surprised by this movie. I think it is easily, my favorite Disney movie, and, I may say, was better than the first lion King.

I had a chance to see, the movie with Jackie and Adrian, it had some great action, but it also had a lot of dull moments, and the story was hard to follow at times, that 30 something percent on rotten tomatoes was accurate LoL

I must say this is worth watching. Your views on the set designs and clothing and music are spot on. Brought back memories of my childhood in the clothes my mom and dad wore here in Canada, the TV and shows. I just couldn't watch some scenes and don't know how that old woman and fat son of hers could even think of such cruelty. There was so much going on. that I had to Google what some of the ghosts's purpose was. It just is unbelievable to watch people watch two human being burn and smile as if they were seeing an apparition. I watched this first part in two night and I'm exhausted. Guilt, shame and delusion are the cause of such evil. All the actors did a great job for sure. I'm left with not understanding why people would treat others like that and I never will. The story was well written and executed. It was a a quiet horror but extremely loud in the messages.

Well, aren't you just the worst "critic" ever. I can tell you don't watch much outside your comfort zone but wow have I never felt more insulted with "children" comment. Perhaps educate yourself on musicals, their themes, Broadway themes, etc.... and then give your opinion. Again. Maybe i'll be able to swallow it better...of course, justmyopinion.

If we Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Tubi, etc can be streaming platforms, why not Blockbusters???

My guess is... based on what you said with your struggles on how subtitles was presented, that plot hole of happened in December 2023, and then 8 years later he did something else, you probably missed/misread something in your reading of the subtitles... maybe they combined fake and real stories... or maybe the 8 year thing was them saying something fictional about the character 🤷♂

I'm Australian, and I ended up binge watching this because the majority of the shows we have these days are less than viewer worthy. To be honest, this one started out okay but ended up being another predictable stereotypical , same old same old, we have a nemesis in the fold kind of rubbish that we've all seen before, to the point where I lost interest after about episode 5 because it became ohh so obvious as to what was to transpire. I've seen it all before and as such this became stale and has nothing new to bring to the table. As I really like Aldis Hodge, i give it a 6 out of 10, however the relationships seem forced, and there's one or two characters that didn't even need to be present as they didn't really add value. or were just there as a means to an ends. I did make it to the end though, which is more than I can say for a lot of what's available these days. The only series I reckon have topped this in the last 5 years were Mr In-between and Reacher. Everything else is at certain points okay but at others always let you down like this one.

I've seen this on Amazon and every time I wanted to view it something inside me stopped me from doing so. This is a new year and I think I'm ready to see an interpretation of what occurred to a group of people who bleed just like white people as well as other cultures do. I just started watching it but my level of dread just keeps on rising. Alison Pill is known to be a great actress and able to go to depths that are so believable so I know this is not going to be something I will enjoy. The fear people develop when something foreign comes along is a normal one, but the history of whites against blacks is one of the most devious and cruel events that hurts my soul. The whole premise is so unfair and inhumane. So I will now get back to it will and will not continue watching your reaction before I live my own reaction. Will return when I'm done.
