Kingdom Valley just feels so... dramatic, grandiose, esteemed. The blue sky slowly becoming cloudy and then turning into a rainstorm is magical. It's like all the forces of nature have combined; The flaming torches, the rippling water below, the overgrowth of untamed plants, and the wind that Sonic rides on.

The reason why Crisis City was chosen over Kingdom Valley was bcuz thats what won in the poll. When the 20th Anniversary for Sonic was coming up they had done polls of each game asking people which was their favorite level of each game (including Shadow, SR and BK) and the levels that ended up winning were the ones they chose for Generations.

Kingdom Valley is my all time favorite stage in not just 06, but also the entire roster of Sonic maps. The dynamic music, the changing scenery that molds together well... And that waterfall section... That was the single coolest mach speed section in the game.

What I Love in Kindom Valley is the music and the weather. Music is kinda sugesting that something wrong is about to happen and the stormy clouds forshadows that the darkness is coming and the apocalypise is getting close. And after that stage...EGG CARRIER crashes. Only thing missing is the lightning and thunders in the distance and the rain starting when Egg Carrier crashes.

Project 06 is proof that is a good game in there, for 06, had Sega not been so greedy and rushed it to market, for those holiday sales, before it was ready. Especially with the story of the ever shrinking development team with Secret Rings and Yuji Naka's departure/firing (according to him). And with hearing Frontiers got an additional year for development before release, all I can think of is, where was that for 06?!

Me, five minutes into the video: "Huh. I wonder if he's ever played P-06. It'd fit right in with the video, and I'd love to hear--" *"...I'm happy to discuss...P-06."* YES. And I absolutely think it counts. P-06 is so in-line with the original that I can't help but feel it's exactly what the developers *wanted* Sonic 06 to be. The playable counterparts of cutscene abilities and locales only reinforce that in my mind. This is what Kingdom Valley SHOULD be.

One really notice the passion and joy when you speak about the stage in the video, it's so nice to hear! Also I appreciate all the shown shortcuts because I am kinda bad at gaming in general and often don't notice them and this gives me a way to try out different passages! Also I didn't notice the intersection between the characters in their respective levels, so cool! The music for this stage is also a banger(as the whole album is for this game), royal and mighty but with an ominous/dangerous undertone...I really wish we could learn even more about the Solaris Project and Soleanna as a whole tbh Great video, would love to hear more discussion/even rambling about sonic levels!

Never played any version of 06 cuz I never had money for a PS3 until PS4s came out, but now I'm finally playing old Sonic games I missed out on (mostly after Heroes) and forming my OWN opinions instead of parroting the bots who parrot IGN, Game Grumps, or the like. What you said abour ruins helping worldbuilding was really cool, never thought about it that way. Also SUPER EXCITED to hear you talk about P06! Cant wait to play it myself and enjoy Kingdom Valley like you! As for my favorite stage so far? Cannon's Core is a contender since requiring all upgrades for all characters gives a sense of "now see what all your experience can do!" Plus i love endgame levels.

I assume that Sonic did not acknowledge Blaze as it is possible that Rush and Rivals only occured after 06 was erased, with those games reintroducing her and Silver to make up for the Iblis-driven future being written out.

While Crisis City is the Best Stage in 06, but Kingdom Valley is a Close Second as there’s so much Lore, Mystery, Reveals, Wonders, and Inpact, also it the First Sonic Game when the Blue Blur Runs in Water.

I know Sega are supportive of fan projects in general (see Sonic Mania team) but they would gain so much praise for embracing more fan projects. There's no reason why P-06 shouldn't get an official port to modern consoles. It's low risk, (potentially) high reward for them! Besides, it's not like them remastering the games themselves has gone particularly well! (Looking at you, Colours Ultimate!) And while they're at it, bring back Streets of Rage Remake!

What is the point and leaving the chaos emerald with Elise ? Silver might not know this but when nearly every game features the chaos emeralds it implies that there’s some event that needs to gather the emeralds every few weeks. Obviously she can’t keep it for very long or someone goes out and finds it every time it’s scatters around the world. Also Silver you need that rock to travel back home

We're in the deepest area of the ruins. And it feels overwhelming for water to completely surround you. I don't have a concrete answer, but it looks fantastic!

I beat this game yesterday and needless to say I don’t have that much love for this game I think Kingdom Valley is the worst. Confusing Mach Speed Section And shadow’s hover vehicle I shouldn’t need to look up a walk-through to figure out a speed section And shadow made me scared of the vehicles. Shadow control like ass as is why would I want a vehicle? I never figured out why it keeps killing me it just makes me paranoid

Sonic doesnt know Blaze because 06's timeline turns into Rivals (for silver) and Rush (for blaze) Also huh? You can play as shadow in kingdom valley Great even characters in depth turned into another P06 youtuber, for such a "fixed mess" I sure fell through the floor lots of times, got send into the sky and the camera glitching like I was using xenia. Its also sad to see how you did absolutely no research when you said sega said "there are 2 worlds" when they did not say so in the literal sense. Yes I have, got S rank with all 3 several times and since I did I can tell you that It is in fact a P06 thing too, skipping through walls with cyan gem as well, Walking in a place where you are supposed to stop and so on and so forth. I dont see why is it ok just for one game to get trashed infinitely when this shares a good amount of Its problems that had way more time to be time. Whenever I replay a stage and go for the S rank I will always encounter a glitch in P06 silver release, and he drops like a rock too. Who exactly skips Silver puzzel part without have looked it up and trying to glitch the game, or the box thing, or going to the highest point to remain stuck on walls. Skipping through walls with the cyan gem is actively looking for glitches, considering you can't skip walls without the gem in the first place, that's a stretch. The only time where you can skip "walls" is the lazers on the snow level. "Walking in a place where you are supposed to stop and so on and so forth." What does that even supposed to mean? Glitches that you have to actively find or initiate, play the game normally, it works fine; Your playing like Aron Hanson here. And i dont see how silver dropping like a rock is inherently bad, in fact, it makes the character balanced, as you have to do meter management whenever you hover or tp dash. The original 06 had glitches that practically was apart of the experience. Getting sent off into the sky, dropping unto the floors, shadow's chaos blast not working, sonic's meter not depleting, getting stuck on walls as rouge the bat, bad collision in mach speed sections, etc. "Who exactly skips Silver puzzel part without have looked it up and trying to glitch the game, or the box thing, or going to the highest point to remain stuck on walls." And who actively throws a cyan gem unto walls? That can be applied to 06, but so as the glitches that happens on a normal playthrough. Funny you claim that Sonic p06 has naturally occuring glitches... and 06 doesn't. No credibility here. Alotta people did play p06, and none of them share the sentiments you have lmao. Even detractors would have problems with the design, which is more 06 than p06, not necessarily the inherent polish. You did not play 06 lmao, try chaos snapping as shadow and you'll get launched into the heavens. Also, that's a skill issue lmao, never have i ever fallen into the floor when taking that shortcut. P06 has lots of technical problems on it's own, optimization is one big example. So it's the same technical issues with unleashed.
