While I’m psyched for all Beast Wars characters in Kingdom, Dinobot is definitely one of those above a lot of them for me. After Megatron and Primal, Dinobot’s the one I want to get the most. One of the greatest and honorable Cybertronians of all time.

I think some of the main line figures we are getting these days are better than the MP. This one, Black Arachnia and 86 Hotrod are all great improvements over their MP counterparts. Well, to me at least.

The downside of being a member of a gimmick line, not that it stopped Depth Charge, although he wasn't his manta form and just a sliiiiight retool of Terradive. Optimal Optimus in PotP...but it's not the same either. Even if they never make new versions of the Transmetal designs (ideally without the chrome unless they've since found a way to prevent future flaking), hopefully all the gimmick based characters (Silverbolt, Quickstrike, Rampage, Depth Charge, Dinobot II, and Tigerhawk) and at least Optimal Optimus and dragon Megatron (with toys as good as their Beast Gorira and Winged Dragon KOs) at least get good toys down the line

So, i made an upgrade. The tail, is supposed to be his shield which rotates like a propeller. What i was bit annoyed was the fact this toy did not do that when it could be done easily. What did I do? i was playing around with my SIEGE Springer, and it occurred to me to use is rotating part for his propellers swords, on Dinobot. And it works better then I imagined. Now i can emulate Dinobot's shield. you need to open the hands a bit more to the back, so that the "T" of Springer's piece can rotate with no obstruction. I put "T" asymmetric to the tail so that it can be hidden by the tail itself . When you rotate it, you don't see That rotating piece. Try it. it's awesome. Its for me, much better then the upgrade kits on ebay for Dinobot, which..i actually don't care if it does not emulate his shield. There is caveman Axe... I don't care...
