For Norsemen, it's easier to star in the boreal forest because you have a large number of wood production puls with biome bonus pine foresting with just 2-3 wood cutting camps you can feed 8 furniture workshops + 4 charcoal burners and you can place bee house between each wood cutting camp without reduce wood production at all.

Can you do a full playthrough with each civ, please? The no food challenge was interesting, but I feel like we'd get a lot more from watching some normal games.

With wood being the main thing you need, wouldn't it be better to just get charcoal mining buildings down to get coal and not use wood for burning in homes, also knowing coal burns twice as long.

Of course he does that, but getting wood at a higher rate further increases the efficiency of the charcoal furnace.
