The trick I always used was using the snack attack to kill all his minions that way he cant take Luigi then just targeting him it does take a while but I found it to be the best way

BRUH LUCK CHARM DX IS GOATED, WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING. When you get your Stache up to reasonable levels, it makes you crit pretty much constantly. Stack Stache Beans on Mario, give him the charm and he OBLITERATES everything. Luigi’s Stache is already high and he does a little less damage than Mario, but he can also absolutely abuse this too, especially if you give him something that boosts his damage even higher. There’s also gear that boosts Stache and a level-up bonus that increases Lucky Hit damage multiplier from 1.3 to 1.5. That’s a 20% increase, and if you land a meaty enough hit, the damage is astronomical. Addendum: It essentially doubles your Stache, without actually doubling the stat itself. This is why you won’t get much value out of it at lower Stache levels, but if you pump those numbers up your crit-rate sky-rockets. There’s also Gloves that boost Stache depending on how many Plugs you have, and a separate one that boosts it by how many coins you have. Combine either with Luck Charm DX for maximum crits.

They really went all-out with the nostalgia for the enemies. The Capnaps and the spiky enemies at the lighthouse bothe came from DT; Invisilizards originally were in PiT and there's a tree enemy in an upcoming island that is just like the one from BIS.

I may be mistaken but gobblick seems to be based on pitcher plants which is a type of carnivorous plants very notable for their particular shape, this is also the basis of inspiration for victribeel and if you look at both of them side to side they look pretty similar

Love the game so far, however I have some nitpicks. 1: Luigi and Mario don't feel too connected when moving as they did in other games: I need two things. The B button to fully control Luigi in Battle, and that the Other stick can move luigi to a degree. 2: the Hype music for battles is missing 3: When leveling up, you dont get to add points to whatever category you choose 4: the battle transitions lost their charm, its no longer some shoe,hammer, exclamation, etc. for the transition into battles 5: Loss of Iconic sound effects. But otherwise, good game, just miss these elements from the other games.

I'm fine with no level up bonuses, it wasn't very well balanced anyway since you got less points if you tried to spam the same stats, making the system kinda pointless sinxe you couldn't really choose your build freely. The rank up bonuses on the other hand are a much better system for customizing the bros, and Brothership has that. Dream Team was the only game to feature both systems, but if we get to have one, I'd pick the rank up bonuses any day.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought the second boss was way tougher than was expected. His attacks seemed way quicker and trickier than they should've been for that early on in the game. At least it felt satisfying to beat in the end.
