The whole inventor class AND the remastered crafting rules all in less than seven minutes? Impressive!

These guides are truly so helpful and I can't think of another resource that teaches the basics so quickly. Love it whenever I see a new video come out related to a non-5e class like the Thaumaturge or Inventor just because they seem so foreign to me and to so many others. Keep up the good work!

I wonder if you can build it with this class? Lol. Fun and helpful video, thanks.

I tried Inventor recently and it's so god damn fun. Not to mention the features have great names and descriptions, you can tell the designers had a lot of fun themselves with this one.

Thank you for this guide on my favorite PF2e class thematically.

"phlogistonic regulator?" "Metallic reactance?" What is this, the turboencabulator?

The standard table of DCs can be calculated. The formula is 14 + floor (4/3 * level). So, level 1 is 14 + 1, and level 20 is 14 + floor (4/3 * 20) or 14 + floor (26.66667), which resolves to 40.

EDIT/REPLY: Someone liked the comment, and I realized not everyone knows what the heck floor() is. It's a mathematical function that returns the greatest integer less than or equal to the input number. So, 4/3 × 1, or 1.33334, becomes 1.0. 4/3 × 20, as mentioned above resolves to 26, unlike if you were rounding. The opposite function, unsurprisingly called ceiling() does the, well, opposite, resolving the above to 2 and 27, respectively. More can be found at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floor_and_ceiling_functions.

Unstable got updated: Updated failure effect: “On a failure, the innovation malfunctions in a spectacular (though harmless) fashion, such as a belch of smoke or shower of sparks, and you become incapable of using the unstable action you last used (but you can still use other unstable actions as normal).”

That's not what the Inventor feat does, it just lets you learn a common formula by following the normal rules for crafting it (across 4 days). Only your Innovation can be crafted in a single day.

I really want to play all the classes, but some just make it hard for it to be enjoyable - Inventor and Psychic are cases in point. Just too much getting in the way of fun for me. If others get it and can have fun with these classes more power to you.

I love your style of videos. Quick, funny but clear and to the point! Small correction: I believe even regular Overdrive gives the 1-minute cooldown. Unless the description has changed in new rules, the Archives of Nethys describes Overdrive like such: *"Success:* Your gizmos go into overdrive, adding power to your attacks. _As critical success,_ except the additional damage is equal to half your Intelligence modifier." The "as critical success" part, to me, sounds like it's a direct one-to-one of Critical Success, excluding the lower damage.
