This is the Royal Horse artillery, the ones that draw the gun carriages, not the Horse Guards. But yes, it's lovely to see them enjoying themselves!

​​@@SuzeQ1122They stand in at Horseguards when the HHCV leaves London for Leicester and Norfolk. But it's not for long and they don't take a lot of annoyance from people. Their horses are beautiful and they're excellent riders

Yes I agree....when I visit England I will admire from a distance. I see those videos and worry for the horses stress. I have horses....I wouldn't let a bunch of people poking at them. I imagine thousands of people , one after another. Then the guards have to keep them calm. I think people need to be more respectful, and take pictures from a small distance. The guards and horses are there for a purpose, and that purpose is not to entertain pushy tourists. Just my opinion.

I love how they play in the ocean and on the sand. Definitely a great lil vaca away from all of those noisy tourists as another here has said..no crying babies, strangers touching them, etc.

They are turned out to grass twice a year at Christmas and in August for several weeks. And yes, a run on the beach is as much a holiday for them as it is for the soldiers ! 😆😆😆
