We needed a mobile miter station to move outside when we didn’t have room inside for using it.
This miter station has the ability to fold to 1/3 of it’s size in seconds, all while being rock solid and super easy to move around!

@@tmdwu3110, I’m taking Mounjaro, and working out in the gym three days a week with very light weights. And we have a nutritionist, who has helped us plan meals that we follow. So all of the above! Haha. My wife has also lost 60 pounds in the same time frame.

​@@KingsFineWoodworking I made it and it works great. Your video was so thorough and well done. I used four 3 inch butt hinges. I had some pop up casters I used on the side, had to shorten the table a little bit. No Formica, but otherwise just copied your design. Thanks very much.

The drain plug just fell out of it after a few years, so it leaks as the ice melts. We just got a new one last month.

Neat. Simple. Sturdy. A stand built for work, not for show. I can see building one for a friend of mine new to woodworking. She has tools...everywhere. Need the chop saw? Gotta find it first, excavate it, set it up (usually on some sketchy Ikea table she found on the side of the road for free) and pray it holds long enough to make the cuts you need. 😂 I can see building it to the HFT sliding miter saw she doesn't know I'm going to donate to her. Big step up from her ancient yellow/black chop saw. She'll get so much more use from both (the new table and the slightly used saw). Thanks for the inspiration!

There’s been a trend over the last few years towards just sliding stop blocks with no fence rather than fences. I can see the benefit to both. And I’m curious if you contemplated going with a no-fence vs fence system. And if so, why the fence. TIA.

@@SweetSillyFun, hi. If you deal with a lot of curved or warped wood, fences can be a problem. But I don’t. So I prefer to have a long fence. Longer fences also make precision cross-cutting much more accurate. I’ve used both. And I definitely prefer a long fence.

Nice addition to your miter box stand. What is the brand on your miter box saw and on your table saw, what is the brand on the dust extraction saw blade safety guard?

The miter Saw is a metal cutting saw from Evolution. And the table saw is a Sawstop. The dust collection setup on it is the deluxe one, also from Sawstop.
