This is why choir music is so underrated as people don't appreciate the raw vocal range/talent that this group have. Well done guys!!

Providing the scores to sing along is such a wonderful gift to those of us who, for any number of reasons, can't get out to sing with a choir any more. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to sing these beautiful pieces with you. And if you felt like adding some more to the collection here, we'd be so happy!

This is a traditional Catholic prayer which affirms the sacrificial nature of the Mass and the Catholic belief in the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Here is my translation from Latin to English: “Hail, True Body born of the Virgin Mary Which truly suffered and was immolated on the cross for man From whose pierced side gushed water and blood, be a foretaste [of heaven] for us at the trial of death.”

It would be a dream to perform in-person with The King's Singers one day. They have the best blend and such sensitive respect to the musicality of every piece performed. That tradition and method have led to a consistent sound over the decades. Finally, their repertoire is so extensive, from modern pop to German, English, French or Italian, that it's difficult to choose a favorite genre.

I have to keep coming back and singing this with you. When I retired I had hoped to pick up my music again and one thing I hoped to find a choir somewhere and join them. Sadly, because of pain meds and some medical conditions, I suffer from a dry mouth and that affects my vocal chords. So I haven’t had the courage to contact any choirs as I don’t feel confident in being able to actually place any notes. This music isn’t too high so it sits comfortably in my register and I am building up my confidence singing it. It’s lovely to be supported by your fantastic voices. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Lesley: Don't give up, keep going and you will get back your confidence. It will do your heart and your soul so much good. I am going through a bit of the same thing but it will be playing bass and singing in public after many years. Not quite on your level but boy am I nervous. My love for classical music right through pop and rock has always been where I am in my interests. William Byrd or the California Byrds gives me joy. There is actually a lot of Baroque in songs by the Byrds both in chord and vocal structure. (The World Turns All Around Her an example) Take care and good luck . You can do it !!! P.S.: I am a retired R.N. who for six years was Aaron Copland's nurse in his home. He was a lot of fun and a sweet person! Great memories !

@@JOHNWLOUCKSthank you for your lovely reply and I wish you well (I was going to say good luck but I don’t think you need luck ❤) in your return to performing in public I always, from my early teens, have found it amusing when people tell me they hate any form of classical music and then enlighten them that the pop song they like so much is built around a piece of Bach, Pachelbel, Clementi, Chopin etc etc I am amazed that you were Aaron Copland‘s nurse. That must have been a very special time. I hope your performing goes well. Lots of love and good wishes from a fellow music lover xxx

Wonderful. There can be a time in your life when you are at your peak - this was one of what we sung when I was a university with the university chamber choir in the Eisteddfod in Wales. We did not win but were pretty good and also toured Spain. Music etches into the soul and never leaves us however old we grow. This is transposed, isn't it or sung a pitch of the time.

sing along with the Kings Singers. this is such a ***great*** idea..........!!!! I am such a massive Kings Singers fan, if it had been on the internet 50 years ago during my peak a cappella love affair, I would have been singing on the computer 12 hours a day! I would have gotten more out of this than 75% of my required courses at Ithaca College School of Music.
