Thanks for the videos, very informative! Do you have information on tiles options in Ghana? I hear about Twyford and Goodwill tiles, are they ceramic tiles or porcelain tiles? I am looking for quality tiles for my project in Kumasi, I am not in Ghana at the moment. Thanks once again for your videos.
@kingstal903 жыл бұрын
We will have a video on tiles soon. There are many options including the ones you mention. Stone Depot do the best quality marble /granite and quartz but extremely expensive. There is also West African Home Depot / Palace Home Decor / Kimo, etc

Thanks for the video. I would like to ask that if you intend to cast, do you apply the concrete to the beam, wait for weeks before you cast the whole floor/footings, or it’s best to cast the whole footings/ground floor at once including the beams. Thanks
@kingstal903 жыл бұрын
We casted the concrete to the beams and the whole floor at the same time, No issues. But your method is also suitable

sir, did you use cement solid block in this house Foundation or another method?thank you
@kingstal903 жыл бұрын
We used the 6" blocks for the foundation which is what is used in Ghana. Not sure what you mean by "Cement solid block" - do you mean 100% cement and nothing else?
@yousafkhan76223 жыл бұрын
@@kingstal90.sir i mean hollow block which have holes and solid block without holes coz in my country most of people use red bricks method in foundation but i am thinking to use solid block in foundation.
@kingstal903 жыл бұрын
@@yousafkhan7622 - For foundation we used the solid blocks as well - 6inches wide versions. Foundation must be solid blocks and not hollow ones. The 5inch hollow ones are normally used after foundation for the superstructure, that is from ground floor upwards. Hope that helps

Hello guys, how much did you spend on the "flowing" or the foundation for the second floor, and did you use a different company for that or use the same contractor? Thank you

We used the same contractor throughout. But we used premix concrete for the roof, which was spread out by our contractor and his masons/labourers Thanks
