2024 GMC Canyon WEBSITE ERROR. Back seat false advertising.
With the money they spend on web developers, it is misleading buyers of the truck on a very important feature. The back seat is locked and does not fold down like it says on the build page. I really wanted that feature.

Space under the seat is almost useless. Had several Items I thought I'd put in there but it's all to big to fit....

I sat in a 2024 Canyon Denali last night and was shocked to find the fixed back rear seats. I also noted the manual rear sliding window. Inexcusably bad design and cost cutting.

Thanks for sharing! Cost cutting is all over the Canyon. GM wants you to know it is NOT a Sierra for sure.

Not that it lets GM off the hook at all but i imagine an aftermarket option will be made available by someone. I would like to add it to my desert sand 23 AT4 as well. Btw, i have a later build date (July) then you but identical truck and seem to have"less" issues, you might say. If you ever want to hit me up for info please do

well my 2023 came with the "fold down" seats BUT my gripe is they only fold down about half way, not flat,.,., so not much use to lay my gear and guns on when I go coyote hunting---- ended up putting a yoga mat over seat and up seat back for to minimize abrasiveness

What??? I have never seen one. My gladiator was lockable so I could store my guns behind the seat.

I pointed out the same thing to the salesman when I purchased my AT4X Edition 1. Not sure why split folding rear seat backs are no longer offered on the new Canyons and Colorados.

its a typo it should say the seat folds up for storage instead of the seatbacks can fold

No it is not a typo. Folds down, and seatback are two phrases. the 2022 seat folded down. Why didn't they just keep the same mechanism other than cost savings? Thanks for watching!
