[KiniNews] PKR Youth has called on Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh to take responsibility for his triggering statements on boycotting KK Mart.
Its information chief Nabil Halimi said Akmal was making excuses for not acknowledging the impact of his statements on the issue and is still hung up on the boycott call.
“Akmal, don’t throw stones and then hide your hand. We have said this before. In our diverse society, a political leader should focus on cooling down the racial tension, not adding fuel to the fire," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, a DAP leader has voiced concern over Akmal’s handling of the recent KK Mart controversy, warning that it could foster extremism.
DAP central executive committee member Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali said this is contrary to Islamic teachings which encourage good dialogue.

Conduct independent investigation internally by manager involving company delivery driver & staffs in the shop.
