The consequence of not having your ego and greed in check. The fact is, none of this had to happen if only Tony was not such an arrogant dick and accepted the rates that his banker was offering. Its not really that he could not afford the new rates. Tony had so much money, he can not spend it fast enough. He turned him down simply because he thought he was being ripped off by a legitimate bank that kept his money safe, and because like greedy people are, they try to hoard and hold on to every dollar they can get their hands on even though they dont need it.

Tony was an idiot. The banker was charging him 20 percent for like a million dollars. Which was like 200000 thousand dollars and the moron decided to trust a guy who he never met handling his money. When I was a kid I used to like Tony but now I agree with frank and sosa. Tony was always a cowboy punk.

I don’t think they retaliated against Tony because they recorded him secretly. In my opinion they just lost patience after Tony imposed them a little break instead of ending their workshift 😩

The way he asks where does this check go, I’d have red flags going up, having to answer a question like that out loud, the guy sounding defensive, antagonistic, hit the brakes, fast…guy even looks like a cop, I wouldn’t trust any after wasting their buddy earlier in the movie..

Bruh, if he had just let Manny do the deal.....hell, if he wasn't so cheap he would have just stay with that smiling MF banker we'd all be fine right now. But no he just had to blow it up. What tony should of did was share more of the come up and made everyone he had in his crew just as rich as he was if he had no where else to put the money or didn’t wanted to pay the rates then he should of got out the game after he made sure everyone was good kept working for the plug but instead of keeping the money give it to his man’s chi chi mannie the big bul that called frank at 3:00 am and Earnie then worked on his marriage and been happy with what he had selling drug is not a life time thing he was blessed that he had more then a million some cats don’t even make it that far before getting killed locked up nobody was worried about him no cops was looking for him or fbi he got on the radar trying to swing move and being greedy he crashed out smh 🤦🏿‍♂️
