"Was that all about humiliating dad" Love that question from Meadow because it shows how clueless she really is. Tony is a member of the mafia, with access to hit men, weapons, and more importantly, the will to kill people. Of course the police would come out in force for a potential flight risk and for a potential dangeours encounter
@hamdiatasoy24562 жыл бұрын
Not really. Meadow knew what was going on from the start. Before season 1 even. But much like Carmela she decided to act like she was ignorant to the facts because of her conscience. She was more critical of him but Tony later convinced the whole family everything nice they had in their lives was because of his crimes. To continue benefiting from it without feeling bad the whole family just ignores it.
@awges2 жыл бұрын
Meadow was completely right. The show of force wasn't over a "flight risk" or "dangerous encounter", Tony would never assault a cop that'd send him straight to jail. The show of force is simply to humiliate Tony and remind him of the power that they hold
@colechapman69762 жыл бұрын
@@awges The man has tons of cash, he has multiple cars, and he has the connections to fly or drive anywhere at any time in order to flee. That's a flight risk to me. He also has killed and murdered dozens of people, so who knows what he could be capable of. A mob boss like that is also armed to the teeth, and who knows, maybe his gun-carrying underlings are there with him inside. If I was law enforcement, I wouldn't go in with one or two officers to arrest the most powerful mob boss in North Jersey responsible for dozens of killings These mob bosses, they are animals, if they panic, they could kill police, they could kill anyone they want to save their own skin
