I rode the train (metro) to work in Washington D.C. for years. The richest most prosperous country in the world, but people rarely even acknowledge one another. Real riches are kindness, humility, laughter, and connections to fellow humans. Your videos are so heartwarming to me, showing a good heart is more important than any amount of money.

Traveling to Kurdistan it's safety and cheap in general with a friendly atmosphere everywhere. I was there twice... And I intend to be back again next year. Yves, your videos are awesome because you show the roads, villages, towns and beautiful landscapes by the angle of you riding the bike. Really amazing. The Kurdish meals you show inthe vídeos are common everywhere. It's like a healthy Kurdish trademark, with Kurdish bread, soup, kebab and green salad. I miss Kurdistan by your videos. Congrats!

Your video titled “I meet the wonderful people of Kurdistan” yet you have Iraqi flag next to it!! Iraqi Kurdistan is an independent region with its own flag, government and parliament. What’s the reason for not displaying Kurdistan Regional government flag. Even the entry stamp on your passport states that. Either ignorant or a troll!
@KinoYves2 жыл бұрын
Well, technically, Iraqi Kurdistan is in Iraq, it's the way it is, it's not my fault. Right now I have an Iraqi Visa and this visa is for all Iraq, including Kurdistan. I am not here to do politics, so I just try to respect everyone's point of view. By attacking me, and insulting me while I try to give a positive image of your people, you don't do any favor to your people and to your cause, quite the opposite.
@R_Ali2 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. Nothing to do with politics. You are in KRG, has its own government and flag. Eg Italy is part of EU if you go to Italy you’d put Italy’s flag not EU. Plus you don’t have to try give the people a positive image. They are good, kind generous and very hospitable people and it’s evident in your videos. So my point was be a bit sensitive and don’t insult them by your insensitive gesture. French people get insulted if they hear a visitor/tourist speaks to them in English and not French so you of all people should appreciate this.
@KinoYves2 жыл бұрын
@@R_Ali you should ask your prime minister whether Kurdistan is a country or not, and why he gives you an Iraqi passport... Kurdistan is an autonomous region of Iraq, not a country. Actually I would not mind Kurdistan to be a country, but it is not one, it's not my fault. The autonomous regions of Spain have their governments and flags, and it does not make them countries (did you hear about countries called Asturias, Cantabria, Aragon? No, because they are not countries. Republika Srpska in Bosnia is not a country, Puerto Rico is also not a country, the autonomous Republiks in Russia are also not countries... all those places have a government and a flag, but they are not countries.
@KinoYves2 жыл бұрын
@@R_Ali it's funny, because I actually think that it's sad that Kurdish people don't have a country, and still you insult me... very sad...
@R_Ali2 жыл бұрын
@@KinoYves I was just pointing out to you some facts and asked a question, there was no insult directed at you. Simply suggested some degree of sensitivity, that’s all. If I travel to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, I wouldn’t say I went to America 🇺🇸. As you wish. Good luck and Have a Safe journey
