She was asking what they thought about the bikini and they said “oh it makes you look square and flat” and the person wasn’t mad about it they were confused because they are flat like they said. And the other person said to wear something that makes them more curvier. They weren’t mad it’s because those are female beauty standards. Western woman beauty standards are portrayed as someone who’s curvy and their skin is glowing and they wear very feminine clothes. I simply don’t agree with that. I wear leggings & jeans pretty much all year, no matter how hot it is, because apparently at some point someone told everyone in society that it's okay to judge women who don't shave their legs; I haven't shaved because it's too painful on my back & hips & Nair is too damn expensive. I also don't wear tank tops outside the house because I also haven't shaved my pits just because I don't feel like doing that all the time. I'm also plus-sized & have an overactive thyroid, so yes, I have facial hair; even my dad won't take me to the ER if I haven't shaved, even when I'm suffering from DKA & am pretty close to dying, if I haven't shaved first. Treating women like that needs to stop, guys.
