Love how Kintaro made his presence known to his human visitors by banging on the glass. Mometaro and Gentaro really scored some big branches today. Genki took her giant mouthful of grass up on the beam. Everyone looked to have a good day.

Agree. Especially now that I’ve seen more pictures of young Momo lately. Both boys are beautiful. Gentaro has a magnificent look about him with the loveliest eyes and face. I think he will be equally beautiful as his father once a silverback but will not look exactly like him. 🦍♥️

京都市もコロナ患者が多いです。 室内観覧室は、人混みですし、また、ゴリラに感染させる可能性もありますから、私は室内観覧室には入りません。 室内観覧室は、ガラス越しですが、ゴリラの匂いやエサの匂いなど色んな匂いがします。つまり、どこかしら空気が漏れてるわけです。人混みになれば、人からゴリラに感染させる可能性が少なからずあります。 ゴリラは発症すると治療が非常に難しいですしね。

@@Gorilla-Life Im a former PhD student in Primatology with a masters in Anthropology so I know exactly what you are saying. Genki is such a beautiful lady (matriarchs of all matriarchs) and I believe the family deserves another baby but a girl this time. I came to Kyoto Zoo about 7 years ago when Gentaro was just a couple years old and really love the Zoo and the workers there. I would love to come back sometime and see the family again before Gentaro leaves to be a handsome Silverback and had his own family elsewhere
