Kioti’s are nice tractors I have two neighbors with them one’s A 3510 open station and the other ones A 4510 cab with loader and rear snowblower that machine was perfect for cleaning all the snow we had this year

My prediction: as Kioti gains market share, in 2021 John Deere comes out with a 1025R with a cab that adds air conditioning (they have a Mauser cab with heat now) air ride seat, self leveling bucket, true 3rd function, and adjustable 3 piont. Competition causes consumers to win. 👍

Tim, I have a CK2610HST. I don't have a cab or air but I've not had a need for anymore horsepower than I have. I've used the bucket for moving dirt. A grapple for working in the woods for firewood. A posthole digger for fence posts. A 2 bottom plow for the garden. A landscape rake. A finish mower along with a brush hog. A carry all for hauling wood out. It's been plenty powerful and a well made tractor.

I have a CK2610HST and it's not underpowered, I don't know how much the A/C will rob in up. I run a 5' tiller and a 5' brush hog and have plenty of power.

I have owned 4 Kiotis. I bought a 2019 NX6010 HST to replace me DK 55 that I have had for 12 years and has been awesome! The NX6010had 5.5 hours on it when I picked it up from the dealer. It broke down on me the first day I used it. Over the next three weeks it broke down so many times that the dealer ended up buying it back from me. I understand that I probably got a lemon but I was super disappointed. I will say that when it was running the A/C in the cab was amazing. Not bashing the brand just sharing my experience.

Thanks for a great video Tim. When I was shopping for a new tractor a little more than a year ago, 3 things drew me to the LS brand. #1 LS already had several standard features that their competitors are just now starting to include such as the telescoping 3 point draw bars, the external 3 point lift linkage, and 2 rear hydraulic remotes, all very handy! #2 Dollar for dollar, LS is an all around beefer machine. More robust and better priced. #3 LS had already been making New Holland's Boomer series for years, and I really liked the Boomer's features when I looked at them several years ago.

I’ve got 45 hours on it. It’s working very well so far. The cab sure is nice in winter. We’ll see how it does long term.

I have the CK3510SE open station. It's been a great machine. Been running a 66" flail mower behind it to clear out some brush/vines and it's been chewing through everything I've tossed at it.

I think after all the ones you looked at, the Kioti was the most impressive. We have a dealer not too far from here, and I've thought about checking them out before. Tim, You're just expanding my horizons. I used to be a very devout International Harvester guy because of our small family farm. (Where we mainly have 1970's and 1980's IH tractors.) I recently purchased a 1025r... and I'm liking it. I would have never considered a Kioti before buying the deere, and I wouldn't have considered the deere before your videos! (Of course, I had to confess, CaseIH doesn't have much in the way of the subcompact market.)

As a Kioti owner I would be more concerned with parts availability over resale. i have to drive almost 100 miles to get to a dealer that has parts when i need them the local guys barely have filters

Tim I have a DK 45 2005 model and it has all of the features this new one has plus self levelling bucket but it is open station. I have had it 6 years now and minimal repairs- some hoses, ignition switch, and that's about it. Regular maintenance of course. The tires were tubeless and loaded but that is on the previous owner. Last year I had to have tubes installed as the tires were starting to weep but again I wouldn't put that on the tractor. It has been reliable and starts in all weather (eastern Canada) with no block heater. If I get another tractor it will be a Kioti. Btw chains make a big difference in deep snow or icy conditions.

One of your prior videos on Kioti tractors convinced me to buy a CK3510 SE about a year ago. That was after owning nothing but John Deere tractors for 20 years. I have never regretted the purchase. I got a lot more features for a lot less money. My only complaint with the Kioti was the right hand brake pedal. It my work great on level ground. It does not work well on sloping ground where you need to have your foot on the hydro pedal & brake pedal at the same time. Luckily on the Kioti CK10 SE models, it is very east to add a left side brake pedal. My dealer & Kioti said it could not done, but I did it & it works great. What kind of tires were those on the Kioti CK2610SE?

I have a kubota l2501 and with it being gear drive it's a bit more efficient than a hydrostatic drive I can run a 5ft shredder through waist high grass loader functions well and can lift anything the other L series tractors can. I'd imagine this Kioti would be the same minus a bit less PTO capacity do to the hydrostatic transmission. It should run a 4ft shredder but be able to do great loader or box blade work. Basically a very comfortable utility chore tractor. Great for mowing fence lines as well.

I liked the feature of the pto turning off as the lift arms reach a certain height on the Kioti. I hope I understood that correctly. Using a tiller I find when raising it too high my driveline gets in a bind when it’s engaged, this feature would help in that situation. The adjustable hand crank on the McCormick lift arm is old technology. Massey Ferguson had that setup years ago. Both my 135 and 245 Massey has that, 1970’s models. Have a good one!

Tim, the Kioti seems to have the weight built into the tractor vs adding a bunch of tractor weights and liquid to tires. The larger cubic inches provides more torque to compensate for the lower hp.

My 51 8N has the crank adjustable 3 pt link. Lots of features on that tractor. Don't know if it has the horses for a brush hog, tiller, or snow blower. JD and Kubota have a 25 hp 3 and L series respectively, no cab with AC. GP Outdoors has a Kubota B2601 and regularly runs a brush hog, mower, and snowblower.

Good video Tim, I think that was a valid concern about the HP running the tractor and A/C, I even heard people stress concern over this even with a 3033R. I could picture brush hogging and possibly running into HP issues with everything running at the same time. Last summer at Empire Farm Days I was told my a JD corp. rep that they have plans some time this year for an external A/C unit for the Mauser cab on the 10/2025R cabs, but that would be a rooftop unit because they realize that 25 HP would struggle to run everything.

My question would be in regards to the speed of the hydraulics with the limited horsepower. Then as you said ac compressor, alternator, power steering, all drawing on the power??? Will be interesting to see how it goes

Interesting on the adjustable 3-point arm. My 1953 Ferguson has that feature. You would think all tractors would have that. When using a rear blade to drag a driveway, etc it is almost necessary to have one. Especially when the blade is angled much like a real road grader.

Tim , I have the 2610 kioti. No cab. Love it so far. It only has about a 10 mph road speed. It will lift a lot with front end loader (1835lbs) and (1600ish on 3pt). With no weights or fluid in rear wheels it will lift to about 8 ft high.

Tim, I looked at that Kioti as well. I really like that they and a lot of the Korean tractors offer a true automotive electric rear window defroster. Wish Deere would follow suit. One negative thing I noticed (and maybe the larger Kioti cabs are this way as well), the Freon lines for the A/C are very much exposed at the base of the cab. You captured this in the video with the hydraulic line close up. They are made of thin aluminum and can be easily damaged by branches ect,... Another neat thing that Kioti does with their SCV’s is they offer them with a detent position. So this allows the use of a backhoe without having to add a power beyond kit. Representative told me this.

Tim, I’ve owned a b2650 and b3350 and the 2650 would run circles around the 33 horse 3350 with emission control. hated the 3350 as it was a nightmare and spent most of its time in the shop. I have almost 600 hours on the b2650 with no issues. I have more power than I need running my tiller and rotary cutters.

The best first 5 minutes of any TTWT video I have ever seen. But I am a little bias in my opinion. You need to test drive a CK2610se. I own the CK2610 in a shuttle shift and it doesn't act like a 25 hp tractor. Feels more like a 35 to me. Wish you were closer. I would let ya play on my Kioti for the day.

Great video Tim, I could watch tractor reviews all day. As someone else stated not all 25hp engines are created equal, you need to look at cubic inches and torque. I had a B2650 cab and it ran my 5ft mower and 64in snow blower no problem. I hear all kind of hp figures for what it takes to run the ac, It would be awesome if you could put a tractor on a dyno and check pto hp with the ac on and off.

The newer AC refrigerant oils have very low drag on a AC conpressor. Plus the compressor doesn't run constant... it cycles.

Keep in mind not all 25hp's are created the same. HP is just a small consideration (just like with mowers and zero turns) , more importantly would be the cubic inch of the engine. Kioti has 26hp with a 100 ci engine already. That would be the same size as the Kubota L2501's 25hp, and their L3301's 33hp engine. Some nice standard features. I'd be very interested in the cab height, would be nice to have a tractor this size that had a cab that could fit in a 7ft door. The r14 tires are really catching on.

Bobcat compact tractors are the same as the kioti tractors, just different colors and logos. So if anyone looking at either one of those and distance of dealership is a factor you have a choice.

These 25HP non emission tractors use large displacement engines...not a lot of horsepower but more torque than expected. In practice they work well, especially with a 3 range HST

Yea my l2501 is torquey and my loader specs are the same as the 3301 and 3901. Still limited to a 5ft shredder 5ft tiller and other similar powered Implements. Very capable. I haven't tried a hydrostat one yet I have a gear drive. Overall they do not feel underpowered if you stay within its rated capacity. It did run a 6.5ft tiller one day but it was everything it had lol

John Deere offers a 3025E ,so maybe this Kioti. Is not under powered? I am going to look up tractor data on the Kioti to see the actual PTO hp rating and weight of this unit if its available. Like Tim said the resale might not hold up but all in all look at what your paying. The RK 37 with a cab a/c heat and radio has an attractive price to. around 24,000.Plus if you purchase a loader the tires are loaded not a bad deal.Plus an 8 year power train warranty. Even the back hoe for the RK37 is priced at $5999.00 7.5 foot digging depth. I'd like to see Tim do a side by side loader lift with the RK 37 and the 2038R ,to see which one picks up the most.

An 8N and 9N Ford is only 18 and 22 horsepower respectively and they seem to handle to 14 inch plows pretty well I'm I am like you though I would rather take the ck2510 with the smaller frame and larger horsepower seems like you get more power for your money that way

How much HP does the a/c rob? Is that 25hp engine or PTO? Like you mentioned, HP may be limited. Resale value doesn't matter to me at all... Take care of the machine, and if someday decide to sell, it should still bring a decent price as long as no major repeat issues.

The kioti is nice. To me it looks the same size as a 3025e. The 3025e has the same hp as the 1025r. I always thought the 3025e was underpowered with its size and weight.

The 3025e has a 2 range transmission. The Kioti CK2610 has a 3 range transmission. The 3 point & loader lift are also a lot higher on the Kioti.

That Kioti looks like they took a 3-series size machine, with 3-series size features and functions, and put a little 1-series size engine in it. Seems very under-powered for its size, especially once you turn on the AC when it's 100 degrees in July. BUT, if a little 25hp engine meets your needs, then this machine could be gold. It has features that we all want in our 1-series, but don't fit on a 1-series. Realistically, most of us are not running out of horsepower on our 1-series tractors. We run out of life capacity or traction long before running out of HP. So losing a few HP to the AC and weight is probably not a big deal for most users doing most tasks. You of course are giving up the small size and maneuverability of a 1-series to get all these goodies. No free lunch. It's not going to fit in your garage and it probably won't be ideal for typical low mowing.

Matt Lawrence I own a CK2610 and it runs a large 60” snowblower with ease. Have yet to have a lack of power for all the tasks I use it for. The kioti has a 1.6L (100ci) engine while a 1025r has a 1.3 (77ci).

It's a popular frame size/HP because you get a tractor that can actually do something with the horsepower, without being bridled by emissions equipment, and isn't a glorified lawn tractor. I'm looking at tractors now and the Kioti CK2610, Kubota L2501, and Mahindra 1626 are at the top of the list for what I want to do. The loader and 3 point capacities are ~2x what smaller 1-series/E max/BX, etc tractors are, with better stability and more traction. For using it to do actual tractor stuff, there's no downside compared to the smaller series tractors even with the same HP in both. Mowing with a mid mount is about the only thing you lose going up that big, but I'd rather use a zero turn anyways.

The Kubota B2650 is the same basic size, with heat, a/c, and no DPF. Seems to work fine.

Kyle Sonsalla I debated between the L2501 and CK2610 for the last year, looked at both and test drove multiple times. Both dealers are within 25minutes of me. Warranty, lift capacity, and over all fit finish / build quality are what made me choose the Kioti. I believe in its size class Kioti is the best choice with lots of features and thought put into engineering. Maybe it was just my local dealer but Kubota had some bad fit/finish issue. Cast loader arm pieces that were heavily ground with deep gouges, lots of open space on side of seat, very basic feel, gas cap on the hood, steering arms stick way out, etc.

The Kioti cab machine looks very nice. You made me think about the hp. Is it conceivable that the 25hp rating is understated? Similar to what you/we discovered when you dyno tested Johnny.

the kioti ck2610 has the same engine as the ck35 had that was 35 hp,also the engine has over 100 cu in wich helps with torque

15 Years ago these off brand tractors and dealers started opening up around me. I have seen them come and go dealers have changed names or closed down and the brands they service and sell change every year or 2. The only thing that has stayed the same is the JOHN DEERE and the CASEIH dealer. I own both and JOHN DEERE parts availability is 2nd to none. The CASEIH dealer has had KUBOTA for 25 years but the parts man says sometimes if you need a KUBOTA part that is not a filter belt or hose it can very hard to get and sometimes not at all. Buyer beware.

The 26 hp emissions rule should be changed to 35 hp

The tier 4 final motors are not bad but you gotta run the motor at the rated rpm and not leave it idling for extended periods. That's one thing I like about the 26hp and under machines I can set my rpms to 1200-1500 rpms and do my loader work or box blade work. Where as on the big machines they want you to run atleast 2k rpms for everything.

Tim I think as an alternative to kioti I would be looking at Ferrari or Lamborghini. Personally there is a Ferrari tractor dealer 2 hours away from me here in the state of Oregon. It seems the Italian brands pack the most horsepower, gears, and overall features into the smallest frames. I much prefer the max power minimum size approach.

In theory 25 horsepower would be enough depending on the hydraulic setup though it may be very slow the power is possible
