But at the time, that was the leading theory. Steven Spielberg actually worked with several paleontologists to ensure as much accuracy in the film as possible, including originally having feathered dinosaurs which were dropped for the more commonly recognizable imagery of fully reptilian dinosaurs as well as scaling up the size of the velociraptor to match a Utahraptor for the intimidation factor on screen. But now, and for a little while, we know that Tyrannosaurus actually had what is among the best eyesight in the planet's known history. It could spot its prey from upwards of two miles away, tracking it by vision, scent, and hearing. The undersides of its feet were also padded, lessening the vibrations and sound it would make as it walked. And, due to its size, the majority of vocalizations it would make would be far outside of the human register. If a human went back to the late Cretaceous, they could be stalked by one of the largest predators to ever walk the Earth and not know until it was breathing down their neck.

The movie velociraptors are supposed to be the deinonychus seen in the book, just renamed since velociraptor sounds cooler. Btw, although some Utah raptor bones were found in 1975, the species wasn’t seriously studied until after the publication of the Jurassic Park book (with the approximate start of taking those studies seriously occurring in 1991, a whole year after the book’s release.) so no they are not supposed to be Utah raptors But to be completely honest, they should have retconed the raptors to be Utah raptors after the first film or even during the first film.

The vision based on movement is actually based on frogs, in the original novel that’s how it’s explained. The frog DNA changed some things about the dinosaurs as it was used to fill in the missing parts in the genome. The movie does away with this explanation. Also I would not say that the vision based on movement is based on any scientific evidence as Jack Horner, the lead paleontologist consultant for the movie, has had major theories about T. rex debunked and there’s no scientific paper suggesting such since Tyrannosaurus itself had forward facing eyes, meaning binocular vision, and as an apex would not have vision based on movement. It’s a common misconception about the film, just know that it’s the frog DNA as stated in the novel in which the movie was based on

I have used claw for every single Soulsborne game bc having to move the camera around while also having to use B or Circle to sprint/dodge means I need multiple fingers working the right side of the controller at any given moment. ESPECIALLY since if you can’t move your camera to a good angle at the right time in Soulsborne games, you’re gonna get ambushed from a hidden alcove by an enemy just out of sight.

29:46 Alright, explanation of the Backwards Long Jump, here we go: So there's a move called the "Long Jump", where you crouch while running, then hit "jump" before your momentum stops. When performing it, your speed gets an initial multiplier, which is quickly brought back down to a stable speed by air resistance. However, if you can perform another long jump _before_ that multiplier runs out (a window of a couple of frames), then you can _stack_ it, gaining speed exponentially. This can be done through a couple of means, such as rising platforms or slopes/stairs (because they raise themselves up to meet you before you lose the speed), or a low ceiling that prevents you from fully leaving the ground. Now, the game tries to prevent glitches like this by capping your speed. However, they only accounted for _forward_ momentum; there is no such cap for _backwards_ momentum. And it just so happens that you can turn a long jump around and start performing them backwards. So you can start a long jump, turn it around, then start mashing the "jump" button in one of those spots, allowing you to build INSANE amounts of speed. The reason it allows you to clip through walls is because of how SM64 checks collision. Your position is determined by a single floating point in space, and collision is detected at each quarter of a frame, or "Quarter-step" (for example, if you're going to move 100 units in 1 frame, the game checks at 25, 50, 75, and 100 units for collisions, nothing in-between). So if you have enough speed that none of your Quarter-steps touch a wall hitbox, then you can pass through the wall as though it weren't there. That's a MAJOR oversimplification, I know, but it gets the essentials across.

Broly isn't really that complicated. Broly was originally in a series of non canon movies. Many years later in Dragon Ball Super they made a movie to introduce Broly as a canon character with a revised story and character personality.

It's great to see you react to Lythero and his group. They put so much effort into their videos, they're practically making original anime shorts, but the algo screws them completely. KZbin hates real content, just like how the PS4 has no games. Also, what happened at 1:13:52 is a known quirk of the Mario 64 engine. If the game doesn't know where to place Mario (usually if he clips into something and stays there), it will resolve the issue by teleporting him downwards to the nearest physical floor that has open space. Speedrunners and TAS bots will often use this to perform tricks. What happened is, the retracting peg partially clipped "Mario" into the wall. The game resolved this by teleporting him straight down to the only floor beneath him... which was the kill plane for the level. Yes, the kill plane is a physical floor, it counts for this. So that's why he appeared to clip into the wall, and then instantly die. What actually happened is he clipped into the wall, was telefragged downwards at a billion miles per hour, and then the killplane sent him straight to hell.

Broly had a non canon movie set during what was canon’s Cell saga in the anime and manga. GT was non canon so they used a bunch of other movie characters too. Super made Kale as a reference to Broly. Then the DBS Broly movie made a Broly canon to Toriyama’s story, both through the movies continuing Super anime and Toyotaro with the manga adapting Superhero into an arc.

The thing with Broly and the movie villains is that they aren't canon, but in a very, very complicated way they are canon. Nither the manga nor the anime follow the movies at all and deem them non-canon. That being said, as of Xenoverse (and maybe earlier if the Japanese MMO said it and Im unaware), everything is canon but takes place on a separate timeline. I think the explanation they gave in the GT DLC was that they are splintered timelines that branch off the main one and that's how we can have both a Super Broly and a Z Broly.

i'd recommend looking at his L4D2 video if you want Halloween based content from him. 56:06 basically: he's so cool! but he's so dumb! is the consensus among so many DragonBall fans. his whole story is he had a movie showcasing him being the strongest Saiyan, the Legendary Super Saiyan, if you will. and he curbstomps everybody. his motive/backstory? the main character, as a baby. cried. alot. and that's what they frame it as. he was never in GT, however in the games, he's almost always a main staple character. regardless of his backstory, much like with SSJ4 in the fandom, there was no denying how many people loved the hell out of it and wanted more of it. so they did, and a story written by the late Akira Toriyama was made years later. bringing Broly into the canon, and many fans have collectively enjoyed him as a character alot more than his prior version, due to a backstory people could sympathize with, an upbringing people identified with, and also the story canonizing another Movie-based character that people loved the hell out of getting time to shine and even 2 new forms. (plus a new girl that has been appreciated by certain parts of the internet quite a bit) the original broly is appreciated on some level still by fans (especially if you're a fan of Lythero's content) but there's no denying that while his feats are many, it is indeed marred by a weak execution of character and story. basically? That's really dumb. But he's so cool! BUT THAT'S SO DUMB!!!!

Dragonball Z Broly (this one 56:34) is technically noncanon because he is a Movie villain (he wasnt in GT). Dragonball Super Broly is the canon one. they are similar characters, but everyone considers Super Broly to have the better personality and backstory. The "Female Broly" is also Dragonball Super, but her name is Kale. she isnt a "Legendary Super Saiyan" like Z Broly is, but has similar powers and energy. she was supposed to be a sort of way to introduce the idea of Broly's power/energy into Super as canon..and then they made the Dragonball Super: Broly movie which officially not only made Broly a canon character, but Gogeta as well (Fusion of Goku and Vegeta through Fusion Dance Technique), who originally wasnt canon because he was from one of the movies, Fusion Reborn Like with any show, keeping track of the lore is as simple as just watching it and being invested. Like you were with Naruto, so were we with Dragonball

Not because it was part of GT, but I think because none of the movies that came out pre Dragonball Super were considered canon. @@KipReacts+ okay,lemme guide you,it’s way more simple then you think it is. Og dragon ball,goes into dragon ball Z,which then goes into dragon ball super. Those three are cannon. Dragon ball GT is an alternate timeline that was the first attempt to tell the story of the events that came after Z,everyone hated it and it wasn’t made by the original creator akira toriyama (god rest his soul 😔) so it’s not cannon. There are a bunch of spin off movies that are also non cannon as well,so the idea that the non cannon movies could connect into GT itself is up for debate. But the original 3 series were created by akira toriyama and therefore,by his word,cannon.

From what I understand about backwards long jumping and the game’s physics in the American version of the game. For some reason the code registers the input weird and gives you more “forward” momentum when you slide down a step because technically the game is trying to put Mario into an object on a slope every frame of movement. Pushing you out at an angle and eventually rocketing up whatever slope you’re on.

You could technically get to third fight bowser but maxing your momentum and launching to the specific area since it's still very long to get momentum and easy to mess up

Then in the Super: Broly movie, Broly himself was canonised along with Gogeta. I think in Badger’s video on MVC, Lythero mentioned it, but his name is pronounced “Lie - fero”. Not “Li-fero” or “Lee-fero”. I think his friends all call him just Lee though

56:24 no, no, the broly you mean is from a dragon ball z movie (nowadays known as z broly, the one in this scene in the time of the video), but there's also the dragon ball super broly, which is the same character in concept, but brought to canon, the personalities of both versions are the opposite from each other, one being wild, insane and evil (z broly) and the other being a gentle giant with anger issues (super broly) there was no broly in dragon ball gt either, just so you know also there's kale, a character from another universe in dragon ball (there's a multiverse in dragon ball), she's the broly of her universe, yeah, but as I said, broly has a canon version now aswell besides her

The Broly from the OG DBZ Broly movies is non canon. To my memory he never showed up in GT, so idk where the hell you or whoever told you he was got that from. Caulifa from Super is basically the Broly of a separate Universe that the cast fought cuz the Tournament of Power was like a battle royale between all the different universes. Broly from the Super Movies is the canon Broly of Universe 7, which is the Main Cast's Universe. It's not complicated in the slightest, just like how Naruto lore isn't complicated in the slightest. Chronological order exists, people. Use it. Literally makes every single story a children's book in terms of complexity.

DBZ Broly is not canon to the main multiverse of Dragon Ball. In Super there is a movie about Broly that is canon to the main multiverse. And universe 6 has their own counterpart of Broly. GT is not a part of the main multiverse, because it was completely fan-made by a guy, that is working now on Super and stuff, but at first it was just a big fanfic. Afterwards Toriyama approved it to be like a "what if" multiverse parallel to the main series. Well if I remember correctly at least...
