Durant has the Truant ability because of how ants behave in real life. Ants will take about 200 naps every day that are only about 1 minute long. It's a constant cycle of them working then sleeping then working again, like how the Truant ability works.

The reason that Ice Scales fits Frosmoth is because moth wings have scales. These scales can be toxic at times which is why most moth Pokemon have poison moves.

Just rename Ice Scales to Frosty Feather for Articuno, they did this with Cloud Nine and Air Lock; that’s right Psyduck can do what Rayquaza can do ability wise

To explain how snow works... Well.. Imagine if there was an ice type weather that didn't deal damage and instead just had a passive defense boost to Ice types (Yes. Believe it or not, Hail, the ice type counterpart to Sandstorm, did NOT have a defensive boost... Even though Sandstorm has had that since its introduction in gen 3). There you go. That's snow. Moves and abilities that interacted with hail function the same way under snow as far as i know. Edit: As for *why* they did it... Honestly, hail was an awful weather condition to build around because only Ice types wouldn't receive damage from it, so it'd hurt the rest of your team (because let's be honest.. No one's gonna build a full Ice type team-). Sandstorm suffers from this as well, but at least there are *three really good types* that are immune to its chip damage ON TOP of receiving a defensive boost. And while only ice types benefit from having snow, at least it won't HURT the rest of your team (AND you get to nullify the opponent's weather!). This makes it so the weather effect is more flexible, in a way. Though.. I'm not sure if they should've done a defense boost for the ice types... I mean, sure, when it's cold enough Ice doesn't melt, so i'd guess that's why they get a defensive boost.. But gameplay wise an offensive boost would make way more sense. But hey... We'll take what we can get-

11:51 I mean, you're absolutely correct. Articuno really needed stats more geared towards offense. But we should keep in mind that this is Gamefreak... The same guys who gave us Fluttermane (I love it, it's my favorite paradox [And the only one i shiny-hunted for], and i love the Misdreavus line but like.. The stats look like they were designed by a 10 year old trying to make Mismagius viable at all costs... * insert Pale King quote here *)

12:09 this is one i don't quite understand... At least with Dialga. Because Telepathy makes it so you don't take damage from your partner pokemon in doubles... Which means... You can click Earthquake without hurting Dialga. Like... I don't see how that isn't useful in VGC. Or doubles in general. And for Palkia.. Well it means the same thing, except that unlike Dialga it isn't that afraid of getting hit by Earthquake, but hey, not taking damage from your partner's spread moves is still a good thing. I mean... Sure, they could've gotten way more versatile Hidden Abilities so that they'd have something good for singles. But at least there is some use for Telepathy in VGC.

21:06 Gravity also increases move accuracy by a noticeable amount. This applies to every pokemon on the fielld and every move iirc. So.. Say Palkia is running Draco Meteor, Hydro Pump and Thunder and it procs Gravity.... Well, you can imagine the rest.

18:34 Yeah, OU is bellow Ubers. Though... You also have OUBL (OU Ban List). Which are pokemon that are banned from being used in OU, but aren't good enough to be considered Ubers proper and only tend to be niche in the tier at best. So it's kind of a middle ground between OU and Ubers. Oh and pretty much every tier has a ban-list.. Or at least i think they do, I remember UU has a ban list, at least. This may be what FSG meant when he said "dropped to Ubers" (You didn't mishear, btw). Though, i'm pretty sure Dialga and Palkia are still ranked Ubers...? I don't quite remember.

8:54 Honestly... I think the Switch should've been more than capable of handling Scarlet and Violet, even if at 30 FPS. I feel like it's more of an issue with how the game is coded. (I mean, it still has a memory leak that hasn't been patched out since its release... Despite it being discovered only a few days after the game came out) Now, obviously the Switch wouldn't run it at 4K 120 fps.. But if we look at Breath of The Wild and Tears of The Kingdom (I'm gonna use them as benchmarks because they're two other open world games developed specifically for the Switch).. Gamefreak has no excuse (other than the Pokemon Company rushing them to meet deadlines and giving them a shoestring budget... Which... Yeah, fair enough). Those games run well and only have noticeable hiccups in certain areas (Or if you intentionally try to push the engine) (Oh and fun fact: both games have a feature that speeds up Link's (and everything else's) movements an amount dependent on lag. This is to make it so the movement feels consistent with your inputs no matter how laggy the game gets)

Back in the little time i did pvp back in s/m i did unironically run unnerve ttar. It was on a hail team so i wouldn't overwrite my own weather though I'd be lying if i said i wouldnt rather a different ability. Was a calm nature SpA/SpD assault vest ttar

I wish they kept the damage from Hail rather than making Snow with just the Defense boost. Though the biggest issue was that only Ice types were immune to the damage. Steel definitely should have also been immune. Kip, the first half of the Swampert part is about how the most reliable way to defeat Swampert was to sacrifice a Pokémon using a 500 BP move, and you're going to claim that Swampert isn't designed to tank?
