Fellow Legends, welcome! Today we dive into another excellent Rubix Raptor video, this time where there are some SCP shenanigans afoot. There's some necromancy involved, some big chungoids, and a paracausal tank. And Ignis Corp, in my opinion of the SCP universe, is crazy enough as a whole to count as an SCP the foundation has managed to weaponize into an MTF strike force. And I'm pretty sure that's Scorch on the radio. 5:45. And what I said about Tails applies doubly to Cypher.

From what i know the GOC instead of containing the SCPs like the foundation its instead immediately “fire on sight” which apparently hasn’t gone well for them most of the time.

they only contain anything anomalous that can be useful for either weapons research of if it's profitable otherwise it's disposed of which causes more problems than it solves

In regards to the "chair" another comment mentioned, they threw a sentient chair into a woodchipper. This chair only wanted to give a place to sit to people who were tired. Now, it's still sentient, but as a scared, traumatized pile of wood chips, and if you act aggressive near it, it teleports a portion of it's mass into your lungs, killing you.

To reply to everyone in this thread, I want to remind everyone that the Chair is canonically straight up Foundation propaganda. The chair happened because the field agent tasked with dealing with it got lazy and cut corners, and if I'd have a cent for every time the Foundation had something bad happen because of something similar, I'd be rich. Secondly, the Coalition was fully in the right to terminate it. The GOC follows the following modus operandi: 1] Try to Recruit it. Unlike popular belief, the GOC aren't omnicidal maniacs, they, for example, have the single largest conglomeration of Mages and anomalous personnel in the SCP world, barring maybe the Wanderer's Library, which doesn't count because it's multidimensional. The Council of the 108, the ruling body of the GOC, is proof that this works. 2] Attempt to negotiate with it. A whole THIRD of the Coalition [The PSYCHE division] is tasked with researching and negotiating with anomalous individuals and organisations. The best example of this is SCP-6401 [ scp-wiki.wikidot.com/nt-4041-nimuedianetic-karhu ], where they canonically allied with an entire dimension. Another example are the freeports, of which the GOC are among the greatest sponsors. 3] Attempt to hide it. If the anomaly is not harmful to humans, the GOC may just elect to ignore it and essentially put a blanket over it, making sure nobody finds out about it. An example of this are all Reality Benders unless they reach Phase 4. 4] Kill it. And here's what everyone seems to focus on for whatever reason, and even then, they aren't stupid about it. Unlike the Foundation, the Coalition cares more about the lives of it's operatives than the life of the Anomalies. While the Foundation might send an entire Mobile Task Force to their deaths in order to capture an anomaly, the GOC will simply drone strike it. It is also important to mention how the GOC doesn't think in Anomalous-Non Anomalous; it thinks in Threat-Non Threat. But a threat to what? The Fivefold mission. The single most important thing that needs to be understood about the GOC. It shows how they think, how they operate under this lens. It reads as follows, in order of importance: "Survival, Concealment, Protection, Destruction, Education." To go into them in detail, they're divided in two groups The Objectives of the Coalition Survival: "The Global Occult Coalition shall hold the survival of the human race against all threats paranormal, parascientific, and paratemporal as their highest mission, superseding all others." Concealment: "As knowledge of parathreats would result in mass panic and heavy casualties among the human population, the Global Occult Coalition shall conceal the existence of said parathreats from the general public." [This is why they killed the chair. They couldn't negotiate it or capture it, so they had to kill it, because it could teleport] Protection: "Although considered expendable if necessary in pursuit of the First Mission, individual human beings (including operatives of the GOC) shall be protected whenever possible." [I find it curious how this spells out 'SCP'] Therefore, the means of the Coaltion Destruction: "As the existence of parathreats is in itself anathema to the survival of the human race, no unnecessary risks are to be taken to ensure the survival of parathreats." [Note how this specifically mentions 'no unnecessary risks'. It is very common, as mentioned beforehand for them to reach a peaceful conclusion with an Anomaly if it does not pose a threat to human life] Education: "The Global Occult Coalition shall make every effort to expand the base of knowledge regarding parathreats." Tl;dr The GOC aren't genocidal, they aren't morons, and they're peaceful whenever possible, given the fact they're literally the UN. Read the lore kids scp-wiki.wikidot.com/goc-hub-page

ive played some of these Arma 3 SCP mods. they are nuts. we had to climb verticly up at one point where we went through hell trying to climb and not get one shotted through walls by lasers. Also Arma 3 is insanly fun, and you can play mods like the Halo ones where you can fly the pelicans.
