OMG. I tried to see Swindon from the heights of the of the David Murray John building when I was 17 years old. I am now 58! I see they still use the same motion detector sensors on the 10th floor that caught me out when using the stairs. I heard them clicking when I walked by them. I had no clue what they were so I carried on climbing. By the time I got to the top, the security guards caught up with me and asked me what I was doing. I told them that I wanted to see the town from the roof. Thankfully, they showed me and let me go. In my ignorance, I had no clue that I was doing anything wrong. I loved the place so much, I moved in to the the DMJ building soon afterwards. Thanks for the video

You didn't really get that far up though did you? A friend of mine lives on floor 17, amazing views from up there, the roof was also locked. This video doesn't show too much about the real grandeur of the DMJ. However, this video does show how shoddy security is at the tallest building in Wiltshire. It also shows how dated the lifts are. The Council need to splash the cash and look after the tower properly., rather than go after these guys. Hopefully it has highlighted the need for more investment.

KIRBZ VIDS yeah I was doing my paper round and being someone interested in this type of exploring in Swindon I was like this is pretty cool shit you guys are doing but the way it was all laid out was as if you are terrorising the tower the paper used words like “raided” like wtf you guys didn’t do bad shit at all

@@omgukra yh i know not happy with how thay explaned what went on . I aprenetly forced doors open but i used a key triangle wheely bin key ... For a start you cant force a lift door open.... And when the lift doors open it breaks safty so it will not move we did not even stand on top of the lift some one left shaft lights on and i just wanted to have a look .... Thay wanted to speak to me about it i told them what thay wanted to know then just stired every thing up
