I just wanted to talk about this song and its storytelling. In the intro, it starts with a distant echoing beep which signals that Star Dream’s plan is a threat to all life and might as well be inevitable. It sets the stakes of the battle by introducing Star Dream as an immediate threat. When the main pitch begins playing, it has a sort of digital tone, which represents Star Dream’s presence. The battle then commences with the rest of the instruments chiming in while Star Dream roars. The main pitch repeats itself, alternating between electric and orchestral instrumentals, giving way to the first verse. The Haltmann company jingle comes in - the instrumental being more on the digital-sounding side. It’s quiet, but also cold, as if the situation is nothing but a normal Tuesday to Star Dream. Soon after, you hear an orchestrated version of the Haltmann jingle, introducing the paragon we all know as Kirby, our pink puffball. An intermission breaks in, awfully sinister. The main pitch trickles in the background as Star Dream and Kirby prepare to clash once again in their battle for the cosmos. As Kirby and Star Dream’s attacks collide, the main pitch suddenly erupts, again alternating between the orchestrated and electric versions with increasing volume. The orchestra comes out on top this time, showing Kirby’s determination. The Haltmann jingle plays once again, but also orchestrated, turning this song from a company’s theme into a theme signifying that Kirby is here to set things right. The eruption of the orchestra playing the Halberd theme afterwards may narrate Star Dream’s mega laser attack and the following cooldown period. Kirby’s Triumphant Return plays after the outburst, showing that he outmatches Star Dream in tenacity. Star Dream’s technology, although near perfect, can only go so far with a fragile body against the squishy pink demon. The song cools down with computer beeps, followed by the familiar chiptune of Green Greens. No matter how big the threat is, Kirby is there to bring hope, life, and food ;) to Planet Popstar and the rest of the universe. Kirby music is phenomenal.

The leitmotif came WAY before Kirby's Triumphant Return. This particular version of it comes from Halberd Interior. I think you can understand why.

Also, the only version (as far as I'm aware) of Kirby's Triumphant Return to be heard before the one in Taking Over the Halberd was in Super Star's Crystal Field Area (which, to be fair, is an extended remix of Green Greens).
